Enjoy a light continental breakfast while you sample the world-famous Kona coffee at a local coffee farm. You'll also be able to buy locally-grown treats such as macadamia nuts or premium honey, or walk a short trail through a lava tube.
Stop at Punalu’u Bakery, which is the Southernmost bakery in the United States. Enjoy the fresh local favorite Portuguese donuts "Malasada"! or take some with you to the Black Sand Beach at Punalu’u.

Enjoy the beautiful coastline views to the Ka’u district while heading to a stunning and unique Punaluu Black Sand Beach. This is the home to many nesting Hawaiian sea turtles. Also this is the place where many early Polynesian explorers came ashore.
Enjoy a gourmet Hawaiian-style lunch served at this incredible property on the slopes of an active volcano. Sample unique wines, local teas or enjoy some hot chocolate.

Discover all the changes that happened at Volcanoes National Park after the recent 2018 eruption. Visit caldera lookouts, Chain of Craters Road, steam vents, Halemau’mau Volcanic Crater, natural steam vents, and the National Park Visitor Center.

Visit the most iconic waterfall in Hilo, named for the rainbows that often form in its pool. Then, take a scenic drive up the Hamakua Coast for the final stop of the day.

Should time allow, we may stop to take in the views at Waipio Valley – “The Valley of the Kings.”
