It is suggested to come to Dolphin Quest with your swimsuit on under your clothes and ready to go into the water if possible. You may wear sunscreen while in the water, please consider using ocean-safe products. Please Note: Dolphin Quest is not liable for lost or stolen items.
Your program photos are available for purchase onsite at Dolphin Quest Hawaii up to five days after your program from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily in the DQ Gift Shop at Dolphin Quest Village. If you are unable to purchase your photos directly from Dolphin Quest Hawaii, on-line photo ordering will be available for 14 days from your program date.
Dolphin Quest videographers film your encounter using GoPro cameras, which is taken both above and below water when appropriate. Videos are provided to you via electronic download to your computer, tablet, or phone within 24 hours of your encounter. Or you can receive your encounter video on DVD or jump drive for a small additional charge. Please note that these videos are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and other guests in your encounter will also appear in your video.
Dolphin Quest Hawaii on the Big Island of Hawaii is the only Dolphin Quest location that offers video filming of all programs. Dolphin Quest facilities on Oahu do NOT offer video filming of their programs at this time. Non-participating guests and family members are welcome to film you during your program from the spectator side of the ropes and railings.

- For parties up to, and including, six (6) participants: Any cancellations made prior to 48 hours of the scheduled program time will receive a full refund. Any rescheduling made prior to 48 hours of the scheduled program time will not be charged a rebooking fee. Any cancellations within 48 hours of scheduled program time will not be refunded.
For parties of seven (7) or more participants: Any cancellations made prior to 2 weeks of the scheduled program time will receive a full refund. Any rescheduling made prior to 2 weeks of the scheduled program time will not be charged a rebooking fee. Any cancellations within 2 weeks of scheduled program time will not be refunded.
- For parties up to, and including, six (6) participants: Any rescheduling made within 48 hours of scheduled Encounter Program time will be charged an additional rebooking fee of $75 per guest.
For parties of seven (7) or more participants: Any rescheduling made within 2 weeks of the scheduled program time will be charged an additional rebooking fee of $75 per guest.
