Family trip we stayed at King Kamehameha’s Beach Resort. We researched other Kona area Luaus and found this one to be well rated. We really liked the convenience of just walking over from the hotel. The Luau was very we... morell organized in checking people in, helping you find your assigned seats. Great idea on that! Really simplified what could be mass chaos without assigned seating. Food lines and offerings were well organized and kept well stocked. Food was fresh and tasteful. Drink lines moved quickly. The music and show was very entertaining . Lots of fun. Again, well organized and presented well. Very enjoyable evening.

This tour was everything I was hoping for, and more. Our tour guide Henry was amazing. His storytelling was so engaging and entertaining and we didn’t just get to see beautiful places, we also learned a lot about the h... moreistory of the people and the island. If you are looking for a safe and fun way to get to experience several highlights from the Big Island, learn more about the culture and just have an overall insanely enjoyable and memorable experience, I highly recommend this tour.
We were staying on Oahu and they made all of our flight arrangements, provided a delicious local meal and plenty of snacks and somehow made it back in plenty of time for our evening flight back over to Oahu. We were amazed at how much we were able to see and do all in one day. It is an experience that my family and I will treasure.
Also, one note in case you are concerned - there are plenty of bathroom stops along the way.

Chris was a great guide - learned a lot about the island beyond the summit and stargazing. Would highly recommend.

Our guide was absolutely great! He was fun to be with. Unfortunately Mother Nature was not very cooperative, as it was very overcast/cloudy. No stargazing at the top or at the lower level was possible. Sunset was also di... moresappointing. We did get to wander around some awesome telescopes. We were told we would each get a rebate on our charge, but that hasn't shown up on our account yet. But, we did have fun w/ our fellow excursionists, and as I stated at the beginning, our guide was great! Back at the bottom, he did take some time to show us some stars and constellations that became visible.

Very fun tour, would recommend!

Going to the summit of Mauna Kea is an incredible experience. It felt like being on Mars and seeing the clouds below you and the sunset felt surreal. We were also lucky enough to see the glow of the lava from the volcano... more from there. Hawaiian Eyes Tour with Chris was a seamless experience. Chris gave lots of interesting information about the area and took a lot of care with our safety. I highly recommend this experience; it’s well worth the cost!
