FAQ

Q. Is there a safe place to store my belongings while on tour?
A. The only type of storage available is the space around your seating area. There will always be one crew member on board at all times, so it is advised that you keep your belongings with you rather then leaving them in your car.
Q. Are prescription snorkeling masks available?
A. Yes, there are prescription snorkeling masks with built-in prescription lenses ranging from –1.5 to –7.0 provided for those who need them at no additional charge.
Q. How far in advance should I book this activity?
A. We recommend booking at least 1-2 weeks in advance. If you have very specific schedule requirements and are not flexible, please book sooner. Last minute availability is often possible, but limited.
Q. Will our guide help us with snorkeling if it is our first time?
A. Yes. If you need instructions on how to snorkel, there will be a 5-10 minute snorkeling class with a crew member before you enter the water.
Q. Is this activity suitable for children?
A. This activity is primarily geared towards adults. Children 7 and older are allowed to participate, but there is no price difference based on age. There will also be flotation belts available as well as some flotation noodles, but there are no children's life preservers.
Q. What kind of boat will be used?
A. Built in 2005, it is a new 55' Teknicraft Catamaran which has been designed and built to accommodate guests who seek the very best in luxury, comfort and technology. The new vessel seats 42 passengers. It is equipped with two stairways for easy access in and out of the water, full bar & galley, two restrooms and fresh water showers.
Q. Will I see dolphines or whales?
A. There are no guarantees since it comes to wildlife viewing. However, there is a very good chance of seeing dolphins all year round; generally encounter dolphins on about half of the cruises. Dolphins are a protected species and we do not actively pursue them. The best opportunity to see whales is between late December and late March when the Humpback Whales migrate to Hawaii from the North Pacific. During that time of year, they occasionally seen during the snorkel cruises.
Q. Do I need to bring a dry-bag?
A. It’s not necessary. The vessel is large and sturdy and it’s quite uncommon for the water to splash on-board around the seating area. Some people pack their things in dry-bags just to be safe.

Q. Can you accommodate unaccompanied minors?
A. No. All parties have at least one member who is 18 years old or older.
