• There is so much to do near Waikoloa! Stick around after the tour ends to explore the pastures of Waimea paniolo (cowboy country), historical Hāwī, and endlessly intriguing Lapakahi State Park.
• This tour is not offered during whale season (December through March), but that doesn’t mean there’s nothing to see, far from it! The reefs will likely be teeming with sea life, including tropical fish, octopuses, sea urchins, and the gentle honu (Hawaiian green sea turtles).
• Got any golf fans in your party? You’re in the right place! The northern part of the Big Island is known as the "golf capital of the world" for its many sprawling golf courses with stunning views.
