Once you arrive and check in, meet your local guide for gear fitting, a short safety review, and an overview of the reef area you’ll visit. After getting comfortable on the shoreline, you’ll enter the water together and begin your relaxed swim toward the reef to look for turtles and tropical fish.

From West Maui: Head south on Honoapiilani Highway (HI-30). Continue past the Maui Ocean Center and turn right onto North Kihei Road (HI-310). Follow the road as it becomes Piilani Highway (HI-31), then continue toward Wailea. At the Shops at Wailea, turn left onto Wailea Alanui Drive. Drive 1.7 miles past the Fairmont Kea Lani, then look for the blue Makena Landing sign on the ocean side. Turn right onto Hono Iki Road and follow it down the hill to the beach area.
