Before heading to the Haleakalā Summit, guests will have the opportunity to stop at Safeway and Kula Market to purchase food, drinks, or other necessities. This is a great time to grab breakfast, snacks, or hot beverages to enjoy during your visit to the summit, where temperatures can be cool.
Perched at 9,740 feet on the edge of Haleakalā Crater, the Haleakalā Visitor Center is the perfect place to pause and take in the view. Learn fascinating facts about the volcano’s geology, wildlife, and cultural significance while enjoying panoramic vistas of the crater and its volcanic landscape.
A Haleakalā Crater sunset tour is one of Maui’s most unforgettable experiences, and it’s easy to see why it tops every must-do list. As the sun sinks below the horizon, the sky transforms into a brilliant display of color above the clouds, creating a beautiful moment that words can’t fully capture.
Choice of:
• Asian Chicken Salad: Mixed greens, veggies, and chicken with sesame-ginger vinaigrette
• Turkey Cranberry Sandwich: Turkey, avocado, and cranberry relish on toasted bread with side salad
• Roasted Vegetable Sandwich: Seasonal veggies on focaccia with basil-balsamic vinaigrette
