From Wailea / Makena: Travel North on S Kihei Road past the Kihei Boat Ramp and Denny's Restaurant. The 76 Gas Station will be 1/2 mile farther up the road past the Denny's on the right side of the road. Pull into Kalama Park on the left.
From Lahaina / Kaanapali: Travel East on Honoapiilani Highway (HI-30) past the Maui Ocean Center towards Kihei. Turn right onto N Kihei Road (HI-310) and turn right onto S Kihei Road. Follow the road for approximately 2 miles past a Food Land. Turn right AFTER the big whale into the parking lot for Kalama Beach Park.
Parking Information: Drive to the south end of the parking lot to find a Green Truck with a "Tiki Team Adventures" logo on it. Parking is free.

- Group Lesson participants must be at least 9 years old. Guests younger than 9 years of age are welcome to join in the Semi-Private or Private Lessons. Semi Private requires a minimum of two (2) students and Private is one-on-one with the instructor.
- Children ages 5-8 years are required to participate in the Semi Private or Private Lessons. Smaller kids require more attention to keep them safe.
- Children 4 years and under are not permitted to participate.
- Children 9 years old and above can participate in this activity.

Q. Are you required to wear a life jacket?
A. They are not required for the surfing lesson since they will make it difficult for you to get back on your board. However, life jackets are required to be worn while kayaking.
Q. Why is the age requirement different on the two activities?
A. Each activity snorkels at a different location and age requirements are based on ocean conditions. Turtle Reef is located in calm surroundings, making it great for beginner paddlers and kids 5 & older. The West Maui Safari is great for families, but is better suited for kids 7 & up.
Q. What are surf booties?
A. Surf booties are rubber footwear that helps protect your feet and aids you while standing and moving around on your surfboard. Great for reef walking!
