If you view scuba diving as a fun, relaxing, intellectually and spiritually fulfilling endeavor, this crew knows how you feel! The coast of Maui is filled with amazing dive sites, and your captain will choose two spots the morning of your tour, based on ocean conditions and the desires of the divers on-board that day. Typically your first dive is at Molokini, a marine sanctuary known for its water clarity, abundance of marine life and vibrant, thick coral reef. Groups are kept small and there are no arbitrary diving time limits so you can see and experience as much as possible.
Please Note: All divers, certified and beginner, must be able to complete the PADI Medical Release Form. If you answer "yes" to any of the questions on this medical questionnaire, you must bring a note from your doctor clearing you to scuba dive.

FAQ
Expand all
Is scuba diving experience or certification required to participate?
  • Yes, only experienced and certified divers can join this activity. You are required to bring your certification and dive log book with you.
What will I see underwater?
  • Depending on conditions and divers interests there are a number of dive site possibilities. It is common to see diverse marine life on reefs and ancient under water lava flows. The company owner is a biologist so dives are very comprehensive and informative.
How far in advance should I book this activity?
  • We recommend booking at least 72 hours in advance. If you have very specific schedule requirements and are not flexible, please book sooner. Last minute availability is often possible, but limited.
What kind of boat will be used?
  • A 38-foot Munson / Hammerhead with twin inboard/outboards, marine head and a spacious deck. Includes a broad swim platform, fresh water shower and large shaded area add to its comfort. A maximum of 12 divers are allowed on board (two groups of six) for each trip.
Will we see whales?
  • Every year Humpback Whales migrate to the warm waters of Hawaii, and although not guaranteed, they are often seen between the months of December and April.
How does the Captain decide where the dives will be each day?
  • Typically the first dive is someplace at Molokini Crater and the second dive is someplace off of the island of Maui. The Captain and Crew will decide the exact sites on those islands based on the sea conditions and the requests of the divers on that day. They also take into account where our repeating divers have been and where we have been seeing cool animals that week.
Does you have DIN adapters?
  • Yes. Our tanks have standard yoke valves. If your regulator has a DIN first stage, we can provide you with a DIN adapter.
What kind of food is available on-board?
  • Decaf and regular coffee, hot tea and hot chocolate (in the "winter"), just-out-of-the-oven macadamia nut cinnamon rolls and cookies, fresh fruit, juices, water, soda and salty snacks are provided.
