I am so thrilled to post this review! I had an amazing time with Ema. She was soooo patient with me! Honestly, being a beginner, I panicked when I went underwater the first time. But Ema was super attentive, and immediately helped me out! I calmed myself, went inside, and enjoyed it thoroughly. I don't think anyone could have taught me better than her!
P.S. I don't know swimming, but I not only survived but enjoyed it!
I think everyone can, but provided you follow the instructions and let the instructor know about your discomfort at the right time.

Q. Do I need to be able to swim to scuba?
A. For your safety and comfort, yes, being able to swim is required.
Q. What kind of boat will be used?
A. A 36' custom aluminum Munson Hammerhead dive boat powered by twin 215 HP engines. The vessel is Coast Guard certified for 21 passengers however excursions are kept to a maximum of 13 divers. Amenities include a pressurized fresh water shower system, marine head, canvas sun cover, dive platform, and two side dive doors
Q. Will we see whales?
A. Every year Humpback Whales migrate to the warm waters of Hawaii, and although not guaranteed, they are often seen between the months of December and April.
Q. How far in advance should I book this activity?
A. We recommend booking at least 1-2 weeks in advance. If you have very specific schedule requirements and are not flexible, please book sooner. Last minute availability is often possible, but limited.
