FAQ
Do I need any certifications or experience to do snuba?
- No prior experience is required. Everything you need to know you will be taught on board. The only thing you need to know is how to swim.
What kind of training is provided to snuba?
- Guides will teach you how all the equipment works, proper breathing methods and how to be safe while underwater.
How far in advance should I book this activity?
- We recommend booking at least 1-2 weeks in advance. If you have very specific schedule requirements and are not flexible, please book sooner. Last-minute bookings are often possible, but availability is limited.
Can you snuba if you have asthma?
- You will need to speak with your doctor and bring a doctor's note with you. Doctor's notes are required for any medical conditions.
What kind of boat will be used?
- A 2003 high speed vessel, powered by two 350HP Cummins diesel engines. Amenities include an upper sundeck, lower shaded deck, a walk around cabin that gives you access to the bow, two swim ladders for easy access in and out of the water, and two fresh-water showers.
What is the breakfast and lunch menu?
- Continental Breakfast: Fresh Island Fruit, Pastries, Bagels & Cream Cheese, Coffee and Juices.
Lunch: Deli-style lunch with a wide assortment of sandwich fixins'!
