Going to the summit of Mauna Kea is an incredible experience. It felt like being on Mars and seeing the clouds below you and the sunset felt surreal. We were also lucky enough to see the glow of the lava from the volcano... more from there. Hawaiian Eyes Tour with Chris was a seamless experience. Chris gave lots of interesting information about the area and took a lot of care with our safety. I highly recommend this experience; it’s well worth the cost!

The whole trip from the pick up to the summit was amazing. Our tour guide James was awesome and very informative. Highly recommend making this trip when you are on the island!
