Check-in at Kauai Backcountry Adventures

Hop in a four-wheel-drive vehicle and travel deep into the former Lihue Plantation's pristine territory. Witness spectacular vistas and scenery as your driver shares with you the history and background of Kauai and the plantation.

Take some time to soak in the sight of this lush paradise, and snap a few photos and selfies while you there! Your guide will be happy to take your photo as a lasting keepsake of your Kauai adventure.

Before embarking on your tubing trek, your guide will explain all of the necessary information you will need for a safe and fun adventure.

Grab a tube, a headlamp and safety gear and get ready to get wet as you ride down old irrigation canals that will gently lead you through the former Lihue Plantation. Go through multiple tunnels, lean back and take in the beautiful views, and hang on as you go down a a couple bouncy slopes.

- Guests who are pregnant are not permitted to participate in this activity.
- Guests with neck, back or joint problems are not permitted to participate in this activity.
- This activity is not wheelchair accessible.
- Children 5 years old and above can participate in this activity.
- Guests must be at least 43 in (109 cm) tall to participate in this activity.
- Guests must be below 300 lbs (136 kg) to participate in this activity.
- Guests should not have serious fear of enclosed spaces (claustrophobia).
- Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Temperature must be under 100.4 degrees F / 38 degrees C to go on tour
- Not recommended for anyone claustrophobic or those with back problems.
