Daily departures are from the west-side of the island, the closest commercial boat harbor to the Na Pali coast, allowing quick access to the coast and more time for sightseeing, sailing, and everything else!     • Children 3 years old and under are not recommended to take this trip as there are no approved lifejackets available on-board to fit them. You will need to bring your own floatation devices if you wish to bring your child with you.
    • This activity is not wheelchair accessible.
    • Children 4 years old and above can participate in this activity.

Do I need to be able to swim to participate?
  • You can simply enjoy the cruise if you do not know how to swim, though, for those who wish to try to snorkel it is recommended to have some skill in swimming; mind you it isn't necessary. Floatation belts are available on board if you are comfortable trying them.
What kind of boat will be used?
  • The 49-foot Na Pali catamaran, "Na Pali Kai III," with a capacity of 34 people, is incredibly fast and comfortable with unobstructed views (all forward facing seating). The boat is fully equipped with a fresh-water shower, spacious restrooms, and snorkel platform.
Is there a safe place to store my belongings while on tour?
  • There are no lockers aboard so we do not recommend taking valuables with you.
How far in advance should I book this activity?
  • We recommend booking at least 1-2 weeks in advance. If you have very specific schedule requirements and are not flexible, please book sooner. Last minute availability is often possible, but limited.
Are prescription snorkeling masks available?
  • Yes, prescription masks are available. Please indicate during booking so we can secure your arrangements.
What is the lunch menu?
  • A choice of Ham, Turkey, Roast Beef, and Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches, Fresh Fruit, Bottled Water, Fruit Juices, and Soda.
Will we see whales?
  • Every year Humpback Whales migrate to the warm waters of Hawaii, and although not guaranteed, they are often seen between the months of December and April.
