- While some of the tour will take place on an air-conditioned bus or on a boat, you will also be able to walk around at many stops along the tour so be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes

Pick-up at Nawiliwili Cruise Ship Pier

With cruise ship pier pickup, explore Waimea Canyon and enjoy scenic stops at Hanapepe Valley Lookout, historic Waimea Town, and Russian Fort Elizabeth on this guided full day tour. You will even visit the Opaeka'a Waterfall Lookout which is followed by a Wailua River cruise to the lush Fern Grotto.

After passing through Old Koloa Town and learning about its role in the history of the island’s sugar plantations and whaling fleet, stop at Spouting Horn to watch the amazing water show of ocean water spraying up to 50 feet in the air. This is a picture perfect photo and video opportunity!

Stop at Waimea Canyon and marvel at the spectacular natural beauty of the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific," stretching over 10 miles long and up to 3,600 feet deep in certain spots. Then, ride through Waimea Town and learn all about the historic seaport, and pass by the ruins of Russian Fort Elizabeth.

As you ride past the lush and green Haupu Mountain Range, keep an eye out for the unique natural rock formations that appear to resemble the profile of the late Queen Victoria. Then, stop at the Hanapepe Valley Lookout for stunning panoramic vistas of the picturesque mountains and valleys of Kauai.

Embark on a leisurely river cruise down Wailua River, known as the only navigable river on the island. Sit back and enjoy the sights, sounds, and smells of the tropical rainforest as your tour guides regale you with songs, stories, and hula dances that tell the incredible myths of ancient Hawaii.
