Brett was an excellent tour guide. Funny engaging and informative. It is a long day as the island is rather large. Greenwell Farms (coffee farm) was our first stop. Excellent coffee! Brett explained the growing and harve... moresting process, followed by tasting and souvenir purchases. Then on to the Punalu'u sweetbread bakery for treats. I lived the Lilikoi flavored pastry. Nice gift shop also. Next stop was Punalu'u black sand beach with a bonus sleeping turtle. Quick provided tasty lunch at a shady state park. Next into Volcano National Park. Brett has fantastic volcano pics. Kilauea was steeming and erupted hours later. Traveled down a large lava tube, very cool. Huge old lava fields. Next on to Rainbow falls and majestic Akaka falls on the East side of the island. On the North end, we visited Waipi'o lookout for sunset. It was along day, but excellent. Strongly recommend. Brett made the trip very enjoyable.

Although the swell was big the couple days before, the snuba tour was great. We saw lots of fish, invertebrates and saw some pretty corals. Glad I bought a case for my phone so I could capture everything we saw. This was... more our son’s first exposure to snuba and he loved it. Now wants to get scuba certified. Doug and Josh were great guides! Would definitely do it again!

If it wasn’t for our tour guide, Dave, our adventure would have been very unsatisfactory. There was far far too much driving. The caves were inaccessible for most of us as the rocks were slippery. The stairs were steep, ... moreand there weren’t enough hiking sticks to go around. we stopped for quite a bit of time just to have lunch, which to me was very unnecessary. A snack would’ve sufficed. Then we drove, which seemed to be forever to go see the most recent lava flow… Which was quite interesting but somewhat repetitive. Again, if it wasn’t for our tour guide, Dave, his personality, information and enthusiasm It would’ve been a bust. Again far far far too much driving for what we actually could get out and enjoy and see.

Hands down…. The best activity my wife and I have had in our 6-day vacation in Maui. David was an exceptional tour guide! Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable about all the hiking spots and locations, but he was also... more entertaining and genuinely friendly throughout the trip. What truly set him apart was his dedication and care for his customers. My wife lost her phone while hiking, and David went above and beyond by returning to the trail to search for it. That phone held all our photos and memories from our trip to Hawaii, and thanks to David, we were able to recover it. Without him, our 6-day vacation could have turned into a disaster. We are so grateful for his kindness and professionalism—he truly made our trip unforgettable.
