Top Places to Visit in Hawaii

Over the years we have brought our grandchildren here to swim with the Dolphins. Each time it has been a great experience for them and we end up spending the day there.

No Big island adventure is complete without this Stargazing experience!!! These guys did an excellent job of accommodating our party of 20 - ranging from 4 to 63. They recommended and we rebooked for a 3 AM time due ... moreto the new moon and cloud cover - DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! Even at that time the kids were alert and engaged. The hospitality was amazing and the pictures are breathtaking.

Our guide was absolutely great! He was fun to be with. Unfortunately Mother Nature was not very cooperative, as it was very overcast/cloudy. No stargazing at the top or at the lower level was possible. Sunset was also di... moresappointing. We did get to wander around some awesome telescopes. We were told we would each get a rebate on our charge, but that hasn't shown up on our account yet. But, we did have fun w/ our fellow excursionists, and as I stated at the beginning, our guide was great! Back at the bottom, he did take some time to show us some stars and constellations that became visible.

Going to the summit of Mauna Kea is an incredible experience. It felt like being on Mars and seeing the clouds below you and the sunset felt surreal. We were also lucky enough to see the glow of the lava from the volcano... more from there. Hawaiian Eyes Tour with Chris was a seamless experience. Chris gave lots of interesting information about the area and took a lot of care with our safety. I highly recommend this experience; it’s well worth the cost!
