During the winter months in December through early April, the Humpback Whales make their yearly migration from the cold waters Alaska to the warm Pacific Ocean surrounding the islands of Hawaii. Your captain is a seasoned sport fisherman and an expert of Kona waters, so sit back and relax while enjoying snacks, water and soda as you look for these majestic marine mammals.

Are we allowed to bring food and drinks?
  • Yes, there is a cooler already on board to help keep your food and drinks cold. However, please note that glass containers are not allowed and bananas are considered bad luck on Hawaiian fishing vessels.
What kind of boat will be used?
  • The boat used for this tour is a 46-foot Delta boat known for its stability, strength and seaworthy characteristics. This big and roomy boat has areas both inside and outside of the cabin, a big swim step and an extra sturdy ladder, helping guests safely and easily enter and exit the water.
