Sail beautiful Kona coast in search of humpback whales! See and experience this phenomenon, a rare opportunity to listen to their songs and learn all about the annual Hawaii whale season.

Glide along the stunning Kona Coast searching for the majestic humpback whales as you learn all about these marine mammals from on-board marine naturalists. Encounter wild dolphins, endangered Hawaiian sea turtles, manta rays and other amazing marine life. With a U.S. Coast Guard licensed captain, first mate, bartender, and all deck hands being first aid and C.P.R certified, this is a safe and smooth ride showing off the magnificent humpback whales and unbelievable 360-degree panorama from the deck.
All Whale Watch adventures serve light snacks: fresh fruit, homemade hummus and pita chips and pubmix. Soft drinks are complimentary and we have a fully stocked full service cash bar for guests who want to purchase cocktails.

    • Wheelchair Accessibility: Body Glove Cruises is wheelchair friendly, with a customized boarding ramp and portable extensions accommodating all wheelchairs including manual, electric and scooter. The lower deck of the 65 ft (20 m) catamaran is fully accessible from bow to stem including tables and restrooms.

    • Children of all ages can participate in this activity.

How close will the boat get to the whales?
  • The boat can get as close as 100 yards. Your captain may turn off its engines to allow the whales to approach as close as they would like.
Can I bring my own snacks and drinks?
  • Yes, you are welcome to bring snacks on the boat. Cream cheese and crackers with pineapple, orange, and papaya are served. Bananas are considered bad luck to take to the ocean.
How far in advance should I book this activity?
  • We recommend booking at least 1-2 weeks in advance. If you have very specific schedule requirements and are not flexible, please book sooner. Last minute availability is often possible, but limited.
Is giving a tip (gratuity) required?
  • Gratuity is never required, but if you enjoyed your experience a tip is always greatly appreciated!
What kind of boat will be used?
  • The Body Glove is a comfortable and stable 51-foot vessel. It is wheelchair accessible and features the latest in safety equipment, spacious upper sundeck, large shaded cabin, fresh water showers, and his and her restrooms. The "Ship's Store" offers a full service premium bar, sunscreen, film, underwater cameras, binoculars, T-shirts, hats, and customized underwater VHS videos ? all available for purchase.
