Kaanapali Beach

The guide had been stood up by his colleague so was operating solo and was so obviously out of his depth. He was very likeable and put in a lot of effort but kept forgetting things and kept going over the same things. It... more took an age just to get us into the water.
A pleasurable fun day but we won't be using them again.

Been years since we did a Luau. It was a beautiful venue at the Royal Lahaina. Unfortunately, we had small rain events going thru the area most of the day and right at the start of the Luau. The staff did a great job ... moregetting things dried down and the service was friendly and fun. Loved the food and drink choices. The performance was traditional with some amazing young kids carrying on the Hawaiian traditions. We had a fun time thanks!

Captin Steve was great! His three female coworkers lacked enthusiasm for their job in a service oriented business. They served us breakfast and we finally had to ask them to take our plates and glasses after hanging ... moreon to them for about tewnty minutes on rough water. Other people's drink glasses were blowing around. Snorkeling was good. Meals were average. I guess if you want a good excursion you will have to stay in Mexico. Every excursion in Mexico that we have been on they go out of their way there to make your day special with great service and appreciation for your dollar. We never got that service or appreciation on any of our Maui excursions. Thank you Steve, you covered for your crew nicely.
