Parking information

Once you arrive at Kona Airport, head to the Big Island Jet Center building. Park in the large lot south of the brown building and enter through the front doors. Please arrive 1 hour before your scheduled tour for check-in and a mandatory safety briefing to ensure you're fully prepared for your flight.

- This activity is wheelchair accessible.
- Children 2 years old and above can participate in this activity.
- Guests who weigh 260-279 lbs will be charged a 50% seat surcharge.
- Guests who weigh 280lbs or more will be charged the cost of an additional seat.
- Hats and unsecured articles of clothing are not permitted on the helicopter.
- Parties with children 24 months & under will automatically be switched to a doors-on flight. If a child is at least 50 lbs. with their own seat, they can operate a doors-off flight provided the child is at least two seats away from an open door.
Other requirements
- Participants are required to sign a liability waiver at the time of check-in.
- Minors are required to have a parent or guardian sign their liability waiver.
- Guests are required to arrive 60 minutes before their flight's departure time.
- n compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, Rainbow Helicopters will discreetly weigh each guest, along with any hand-carried items, during check-in to ensure the safety and weight balance of the aircraft. Accurate body weights must be provided for all passengers. Misrepresentation of body weight may result in denial of service without a refund.

- Closed-toe shoes are required, and sandals or flip-flops are not allowed.
