Our guide for the tour was Grover. What a wonderful, knowledgeable kind man.
Volcano National Park is beautiful and lush with an abundance of plant life. Stunning scenery of the volcano and caldera.
Learnt so much about volcanoes, how they have formed, how they behave with earth tremors/quakes, eruptions and the that island continues to grow because of them.
Grover spoiled us by taking us to a couple unplanned locations such as the Lava Tubes, Rainbow Falls and Steam Vents
Highly recommend this tour and especially if you’re lucky enough to have Grover as your tour guide.

Due to limited availability, we require that ADA vehicle reservations be made a minimum of 48 hours prior to date and time of service. - For electric wheelchairs or scooters: The combined weight of the wheelchair and guest cannot exceed 500 lbs (226.5kg). and the maximum width of the wheelchair cannot exceed 29 inches (73.5 cm).
- Volcanic fumes can be hazardous. This tour is not recommended for visitors with heart or breathing problems, infants, young children, and pregnant women.
- Children under the age of 4 are FREE and must be seated on an adult's lap. If the guardian requires a seat for a child under the age of 4, the regular rate will be applicable.
- This tour is available only to guests arriving at Hilo Harbor via Cruise Ship.
