Visit Bay View Farm in South Kona to learn how 100% Kona coffee is grown, processed, and roasted on Hawaii Island. Enjoy samples of freshly brewed Kona coffee, browse locally made products, and stop at the Kealakekua Bay Lookout for sweeping views and an overview of this historic marine sanctuary.
Experience Punaluu Black Sand Beach, one of Hawaii Island’s most famous landmarks, known for its jet-black shoreline, coconut palms, and sweeping ocean views. Relax near the water, listen to the waves roll onto the sand, and watch for Hawaiian green sea turtles and native marine life from shore.
See Kīlauea Crater Lookout, steaming volcanic vents, and Kīlauea Iki, one of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park’s most famous volcanic landscapes. Take in crater views, learn how past eruptions shaped the area, and experience the raw beauty of the Big Island’s active volcanic terrain.
Stop at Rainbow Falls Lookout in Hilo and see one of the Big Island’s most famous waterfalls. Watch the water cascade 80 feet into the pool below, take photos from the scenic viewing area, and learn how morning sunlight can create the rainbow mist that gives this waterfall its name.
The tour continues in the afternoon along the scenic Hamakua Coast to Akaka Falls, one of the Big Island’s most iconic waterfalls. See the cascade drop 442 feet into a lush, stream-eroded gorge, walk through the tropical park setting, and take in rainforest views before continuing your journey.
Stop at Waipio Valley Lookout, one of the Big Island’s most scenic viewpoints, where lush green cliffs drop toward the deep blue Pacific Ocean. Take in sweeping views of the historic valley, rugged coastline, and surrounding Hamakua landscape while your guide shares stories about this special area.
