Definitely a nice experience if you want to... more do with family. We went to the Fern Grotto at the end of the cruise and the short walk to the grotto through the tropical forest was so cool. Overall a neat thing to do in Kauai.

We had a wonderful time on this mini cruise to Fern Grotto. We loved hearing about it's history, listening to the music and being entertained by a talented group of people. Every seat was a good one for views and the sho... morert walk to the grotto was beautiful. I would definitely recommend this relaxing trip!

This excursion is a must do. The views were incredible. It does take time to get there, 2 mile row in after which you hike for about 1.25 miles to the falls. The guide told us some great facts about the area. They teach... more you how to paddle if you have never done that before. You do have to cross the river and depending on the rainfall, it can be deep. This is mildly strenuous, you will be walking on uneven ground with rocks and cross a river, good water/hiking shoes a must. You will need to help carry the kayaks to the water and back, not very long and there are usually 4 people to a kayak to carry. Part of the trail does have wood planks to walk on, but the first part of the trail does not. It was beautiful and the falls were full when we got to the top, not always the case, depends on the amount of rainfall they have had. Highly recommend.

The stories were fantastic and there was plenty of time and view the sights and take pictures. This is a must do and we can’t wait to go again when we are in Kauai!!
