Great evening with my Husband. Food and entertainment was awesome. I normally don't do well on boats, but this was a nice smooth ride, stayed focused on my husband all evening and made it through.

The view of fireworks was great however there was no NYE vibe on the boat. Crew could have make the environment more engaging and fun. No count down, no happy new year announcement. complete silence as if we didn't check... more our watches we didn't even know its the time. I wouldn't recommend them for NYE.

Even if the weather wasn't really great during our experience, we still had a great time chilling in the boat watching the view, snorkeling and had dinner and drinks. It was a really good value for the price since the di... morenner and alcoholic beverage were also included. The crew was really great too and we spent time talking to them as well. Captain Don, Trent and Jacob were really fun and helpful throughout the experience. Even if we didn't see the sunset because of the weather, it was still great because we saw a humpback whale swimming next to us.

With illegal fireworks killing and injuring people all over Oahu, it was great to be out on the water aboard the Star of Honolulu for its New Year's Eve cruise. The surf and turf dinner was excellent, as was the live en... moretertainment. Beverage service was quite slow; the large number of diners ordering beverages simultaneously clearly overloaded the staff. Prospective participants need to be prepared for the fact that in order to see the midnight fireworks better, hundreds of attendees move to one side of the boat causing it to tilt quite a bit. But that was the only detectable motion; even people with motion sickness could take this cruise. I had a good time and would do it again. The event was a good value, too.

The entire boat crew made this an experience to remover for ever. If you are in the area, I would highly recommend booking an evening tour with them, job well done!
