FAQ

Q. What should I wear to this activity?
A. The dress code for the Admiral and Romance packages is semi-formal island attire. Men are required to wear slacks and a collared shirt (and/or a dinner jacket) with closed toed shoes. For women, shorts and flip flops are not allowed. There is no dress code for the Star and Celebration packages, but casual resort or aloha attire is recommended.
Q. What if I am prone to seasickness?
A. Consider taking an over the counter motion sickness preventative before your cruise if you are worried about sea sickness. All natural ginger tablets are available on-board.
Q. What if I don't eat meat or seafood?
A. Not to worry! The Star of Honolulu is more than happy to help accommodate meals for each guest. Vegetarian, vegan, chicken, and gluten-free options are all available with at least 24-hours notice prior to your dinner cruise.
Q. How far in advance do I need to book this activity?
A. Please book as early as possible as this cruise is very popular, seating is limited, and will most likely sell out early.
Q. What kind of boat is used in this tour?
A. Meet the award-winning 1,500-passenger Star of Honolulu, Hawaii's premier cruise ship, custom built in Seattle, Washington in 1992. Specifically designed for Hawaiian waters, the 232-foot Star of Honolulu is equipped with innovative watts-type stabilizers and steady-ride deep vee hull for state-of-the-art smoothness and unparalleled comfort. It is also A.D.A. compliant, with two elevators, accessible ramps and four panoramic decks. Other features include banquet rooms, private lounges, bars and a top observation sun deck with reclining chairs.
