• Since this is an open water snorkel sail, basic swimming skills are required for any participants wanting to enter the water to swim or snorkel.
• Paid parking is conveniently available when you reach the harbor next to the dock, and you should plan to check in 30 minutes before the departure time.
• If you are prone to seasickness, please consult your doctor. Take your medication before boarding the boat and inform your crew about any restrictions or important health information you might have.
• Recommend attire: Wear your swimsuit before boarding the boat, and bring a towel, sunglasses, hat, and a change of clothes. Do not forget your reef-safe sunscreen!

How to get there?

Kewalo Basin is easily accessible from all parts of Oahu. It’s located right outside of Waikiki and if you’re staying at major Waikiki hotels and resorts, the check-in location is accessible by public transportation, taxis and ride shares, or driving your own car.

You can reach the harbor using the Honolulu City Bus. Take the #20 or #42 west-bound bus, and exit at Ala Moana Blvd & Kamakee Street.

The check-in process starts 15 minutes before departure. We suggest arriving 30 minutes prior if you plan on parking.

If you are driving, paid parking is available right as you enter the harbor and offers the shortest distance to the Dock. Please do not park in “reserved” or “permit only” stalls.

Kewalo Basin is approximately a one-hour drive from the Ko Olina resort area, and up to a 15-minute drive from most major Waikiki hotels and resorts.
