Schedule
Check-in with Hawaiian Airlines at the Honolulu International Airport

After your check-in at the Honolulu International Airport, make your way to the gate before your departure. Depending on what time you arrive at the airport, there will time to grab a quick breakfast or freshly brewed coffee from a variety of restaurants and food service areas in the terminal.
Meet your expert local guide at the Lihue Airport after your disembark from your flight, and then begin your tour of the most beautiful and memorable movie and television filming locations on the island of Kauai.

The Ahukini Landing consists of a cement pier with a wooden walkway located where the stream meets the Pacific Ocean, and not only is this a popular fishing and crabbing spot for local residents on Kauai, but the movies Pagan Love Song and Donovan’s Reef were filmed here as well.

Located adjacent to the Wailua River, and enclosed from the ocean by two rock ponds, Lydgate Beach is a picturesque beach that became the backdrop to the movie Blue Hawaii, starring Elvis Presley. Although you will not be able to enter the water, you will often see snorkelers in these calm waters.

Get ready to see one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Hawaii with a visit to Opaekaa Falls. This massive waterfall is soars over 150 feet high and is 40 feet wide, and cascades into a hidden pool below. This waterfall has been featured in the Wackiest Ship in the Army and Blue Hawaii.

Located on the most northern tip of Kauai, the Kilauea Point Lighthouse was built in 1913 as a beacon for incoming ships, and while the lights were turned off in 1970, this popular destination still commands amazing views. You may recognize the lighthouse from the Disney film Lilo and Stitch.

This quaint town north of Wailua on the east-side of Kauai is well-known by fans of the Jurassic Park series as the location where the infamous dinosaur "egg-change" took place in the feature film Jurassic Park. This eclectic area is a popular location for both residents and visitors alike.

Free time to walk and explore the charming town of Hanalei.
Guests will have a chance to visit Tahiti Nui, walk to Hanalei Beach and Pier, and shop at the galleries.
Lunch is not included, but is available for purchase during this stop.

See the best of Kauai from high in the sky on board a spacious and comfortable helicopter. Soar above green valleys, towering sea cliffs, winding rivers, and cascading waterfalls. See amazing views of the Na Pali Coast Sea Cliffs, Waimea Canyon, Jurassic Park Falls, Wailua Falls, and Hanalei Bay.
You will have up to two hours of waiting time at the Lihue Airport before your flight, so be sure to bring some reading material and a charger for your phone. There are places to have a quick bite to eat or tasty beverage, and even small shops to purchase souvenirs before your flight back to Oahu.

Although flight times may change, you will soon be on your way to the island of Oahu after your full day on Kauai. Sit back and enjoy the quick flight, and you will soon be back on Oahu with amazing memories of your time on the Garden Isle of Kauai.

Awesome day
We had a great time. The land and air tour were awesome.
The only bad part is the 2 hour wait before and after at the airport.
Excellent Day Trip to Kauai
We wanted to save time but not transfer hotels so we booked a day trip to Kauai from Oahu. It was an excellent overall experience. We were picked up on time but I'm not sure why it was so early because we waited a couple...
