The sunset and night view were amazing. The jackets and blankets were appreciated, but it's best to dress warmly. Compared to the time spent viewing the craters and Haleakalā, it felt like we spent a long time shopping for souvenirs. It would have been even better if we could have visited one more sightseeing spot instead of spending so much time at the supermarket.

Wonderful trip around the island and informative and enjoyable day / night at the Polynesian centre and luau
I was worried about altitude sickness, and even when I wanted to go to Mauna Kea during my past trip to the Big Island, I couldn't. This time, my husband really wanted to go, so I decided to join him.
To put it simply, I had no worries at all and was able to go and come back feeling great. I only felt a little short of breath at times. There were some people in the tour who felt unwell, but it seemed that oxygen inhalation resolved their issues.
Above all, I was moved by the indescribably beautiful orange color of the sun sinking into the sea of clouds. The Earth is amazing!! And then, the stars we saw afterward sparkled even more than in a planetarium...

高山病が不安で、過去にハワイ島に行ったときも行きたいと思いつつ、行けなかったマウナケア。今回は、夫がどうしても行きたい、というので思い切って参加しました。
結果から言うと、まったく心配なく、元気に行って帰れました。
少し息苦しいかな？という程度で。
ツアーの中に、具合を悪くされた方もいましたが、酸素吸入で問題なかったようでしたし。
なにより、雲海に沈んでゆく太陽の、なんとも言い難いほどの美しいオレンジ色に、感動します。
地球って、素晴らしい！！
そして、そのあとで見た星の、プラネタリウム以上の煌めき・・・・

We really enjoyed our Hawaii Five-0 tour. It was fun to see the many locations we have seen on television. We also really enjoyed our guide's expertise. The highlight of the tour was our time at the home for Steve McGarrett. The owners of the home were very special people. I participated with my parents. I've been to the North Shore many times, but this was my first time horseback riding there! It was fun to see the ocean while riding. My parents enjoyed it too. However, there was absolutely no service, like taking photos for us, and in the end, we had to ask for a picture, but there was no communication at all, so we weren't even sure if it was taken or not... (laughs) I thought they could be a bit friendlier. (laughs) It had been a while since I visited Haleiwa, and I was surprised at how much it had changed. (laughs) Overall, the tour was very good!

Seeing the sunrise come up over the clouds was a spectacular site! Truly a once in a lifetime moment. It was super cold! I thought I was being silly packing gloves and a toboggan in with my luggage but I appreciated them once I was at 10,000 feet. Our tour guide driver was the best! I remembered so much information he shared about the history and facts of the island.

Would suggest that you have passengers switch seats during the tour. Unfortunately we get the back seats and the viewing is not as good as the seats further towards the front. Also it was harder to talk to the guide from back there. Might be nice if halfway thru the tour everyone switch seats.

At the Onizuka Center at 2800 meters, it was cloudy during dinner, but above around 3200 meters, we were above the clouds. It felt like a different world, almost like the sunlight of outer space. When we reached the summit, the clouds were far below us, and the moment of sunset was breathtaking; the sunset was beautiful too. The highlight was stargazing, realizing just how many stars there are. The world is so vast! I'm glad I came!

This was a well organized tour. Bus driver talked about the island the entire trip there and back. She took us through different parts of the island and explained things about the different trees, island history and even some museum stops we could make our selves on the island. We knew exactly what to do when we arrived at Peral harbor. The experience there was a somber one. As expected. Great tour. I will recommend this one to others for sure.
What a great experience. The buss was right on time. The driver was funny and knowledgeable. She talked about the island as we drove to the Sea Life center. The Laura was very well organized, the setting was amazing. Made you feel like you were miles from anywhere. The show and culture was perfect. The fire dancers were my favorite. Food! Wow, very well done. I highly recommend this Laura. We were not disappointed, I actually figured these thing are touristy and would not have much Culture in the program. Not this one. From breathtaking Hanauma Bay to the Byodo Temple and Pali Lookout, this tour was captivating. Our driver/guide was excellent. Both of our tours by Enoa were outstanding. Pickups and tours were on time. Very reasonable fees! Highly recommend Ventura!
From the minute we boarded the bus, our tour guide/bus driver "Theus" was great. Very knowledgeable and entertaining. Showed us extra things along the way with facts about Hawaii in general but also about great eating places and the local food. Definitely worth a trip.
We had a wonderful time. Our driver, Hugh, was great. He was very nice, friendly, informative and patient. We saw a lot of beautiful things and he watched the time for us. We were with a good group, too. He allowed the proper amount of time at each stop. Tha lunch that was included with our package was great. The view from our table was fantastic and so was the service. Hugh waited patiently with us for one of our passengers to find and retrieve her phone. It was a wonderful day and it exceeded our expectations. We were very happy we chose this tour and would highly recommend it.
This was a very nice trip to take if you've never driven the road to Hana. There are some 600 turns and 57 one lane bridges, which seemed crazy in a rental car. Downside being If you want to stay and explore - you can't. Beyond that our tour guide, Bill, was very knowledgeable and told us lots of interesting facts. In addition to the Lava Tube Cave (which was very cool!) we also saw the black sand beach and a few waterfalls. Also the swim is cold but refreshing! They feed you so besides snacks you really don't need anymore than what they list when you register. If you get car sick, makes sure to bring something for that!

The Star of Honolulu Sunset Dinner Cruise was the best I have ever experienced! Food was excellent and rates a 10!!! The service was top notch with the servers offering to do anything to make our trip pleasant and fun. The entertainment was more than expected and with the audience participation it made the evening so enjoyable. I would take my whole family next time!

This is my second time going up Diamond Head Crater, but first time doing it in the morning. There is a difference from morning hike up to afternoon hike up. Enjoy the rewarding view each time. This time I caught a shot of a full rainbow across the ocean. A perspective to see it right from the summit.
Manoa falls was interesting hike, it rained most of the hike; which made it better! Did realize until I looked at the picture I took from the scene of Jurassic Park and then looking at the puddles, envisioning a T-Rex foot, this was that trail.
This was a very throw back to the past type of experience. Simple fun, nice people, old fashioned hospitality. The river is in full sun, would not recommend kayak option..not enough interesting flora along the way. Hula and Hawaiian music on the boat ride fun. Fern Grotto was devastated in 1992 and a shadow of it's former glory. Guide gave good local information in an entertaining sort of presentation. I'd take grandma and grandpa or very young kids on this tour.
The weather was great, the scenery was amazing, especially the beautiful sea. The horses were very well trained, and I had a lot of fun. I would like to use this service again.
