Our tour started off with a bit of rain but it got better when we stopped for coffee and a Leonard's malasada! Stephanie was very knowledgeable and had great stories about each place we passed and/or stopped to enjoy. Lunch was great at the Kahuku food truck area and the rest of the day was great as Stephanie gave us choices of whether we wanted to spend time at certain areas or just carry on to the next. As the rain started again on our way back Stephanie told us some stories of scary personal experiences of Hawaiian legends and folklore that happened on rainy days like this one. Such a great day of sightseeing and not having to drive could not have been better for me. Would certainly recommend this tour.

This was the one tour that my soon-to-be husband wanted to do since he is a big World War II fan. Our favorite part was visiting the USS Arizona and the aerial museum. The audio tour at Pearl Harbor was insightful for myself not knowing as much as my partner. It was a very long day and we were very hot when we got to the USS Missouri. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly. Loved the pick up and drop off at our hotel.

This was a great hike. My husband and I aren’t expert hikers but found this to be enjoyable. The trail is very uneven but most trails are. Wear comfy shoes and take water to stay hydrated. It takes about an hour to get to the top and the views above Honolulu are amazing. We had time to take pictures and enjoy before heading back down. The driver of the shuttle was funny and made the trip even better.

Our guide was from Hawaii, born on Maui, and has been living on the Big Island for two years. He was handsome, had a great voice, and was genuinely kind. The weather wasn’t ideal — it was cloudy, though we did see the sea of clouds and a bit of sunlight breaking through. It still felt magical watching the sunset above the clouds, even without a clear sky. Unfortunately, we couldn’t see any stars that night, probably due to the season (I went in late October). But the next day, on another tour, I did see a sky full of stars — so it’s still possible! Be prepared for altitude sickness; I felt lightheaded at the summit and was glad we descended soon after sunset. Overall, it was a good experience despite the bumpy mountain road — and it felt great to have “checked off” the highest mountain in the world (from base to peak).

It was my first dinner cruise in Hawaii. Since the goal was to see the sunset, I chose a buffet plan without a specific seat assignment. However, the seat I was initially shown was in the middle, so I asked the waiter if it was possible to have a seat closer to the window, and after seating everyone else, they guided me to a window-side seat. It's worth asking, right? (I appreciated their service and gave a tip.)

The weather that day was really nice, and the sunset was even more beautiful than I expected. The next evening it rained, so I felt really lucky.

Overall, it was beautiful and became a memorable experience. The food was, well, just a buffet. I was a bit disappointed that the main dish, the roast pork, was a little tough.

If I ever have the chance to show Hawaii to my father and mother, I would love to take them here.

This was my fourth trip to Hawaii, and it was my first dinner cruise. I was really looking forward to it as the main event of my trip, but as the title suggests, I was disappointed.

First of all, there were too many people, and the space between the seats was very close, so it didn't feel special at all. Additionally, the buffet food was not tasty, and hardly anyone was going back for seconds.

The only good part was when the staff got everyone involved in dancing together.

I hope the experience improves in the future.

I expected the food to be a bit scarce before participating, but it was delicious, and I ended up very satisfied. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and this was the best sunset and stargazing tour that my friend and I have participated in. Mr. Yoshi was very friendly from start to finish -- he made sure that we had time to eat food, stay hydrated, and rest well as we climbed in elevation. I was originally worried I wouldn't get to get my stamp for my national park passport because of the visitor center closure, but Mr. Yoshi asked the entrance park employee for a stamp on a post-it note, and it made my day! He knew the best places for sunset, and was very knowledgeable about all the stars. We learned so much about the sky, and enjoyed peaceful moments just looking up. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone spending time on Maui!

I joined this tour because it was the only way to visit the Fern Grotto. I was glad to be able to participate since I had wanted to visit it at least once. Although we couldn't enter the cave due to past hurricanes and landslides, we were able to enjoy the atmosphere. We also had fun singing hula and songs in front of the Fern Grotto. It was great to feel the essence of Hawaii.

I had been wanting to visit Kualoa Ranch. I considered renting a car for transportation, but it was the right decision to book a tour.

During the ride to and from the ranch, I was able to rest, which helped me recover my energy for the rest of the day's plans.

The quality of the food was low, and especially the roast beef was tough and inedible. I ended up leaving most of it. The live performance felt lonely with just one person. Choosing a cheap cruise might have been a mistake.
