Diamond Head, which I had always wanted to climb at least once! The ascent was gentle, but it was quite hard. Still, when I saw the view from the top, I thought it was worth coming here!

After that, I got to meet some turtles at a beautiful beach, and I was able to visit Kualoa and Haleiwa, which was a great experience. Our guide, Jonathan, was very kind, thank you!

一度は登ってみたいと思っていたダイヤモンドヘッド！登りはゆるやかでしたが、なかなかハード。それでも頂上からの景色を見たら、来てよかった〜と思いました。
その後の綺麗なビーチで亀に出会ったり、クアロアやハレイワにも行くことができて満喫できました。ガイドのジョナサンとっても親切で、ありがとうございました。

This tour offers more than just what is on the pamphlet. First of all, the trip to the Dole Plantation provided different attractions that are relaxing and self paced with beautiful backgrounds for pictures. There was a large gift shop for those who enjoy a little vacation shopping with a food court where everyone should try at least one of the special pineapple menu items. Secondly, the stop to Haleiwa was a short distance from Dole, and there's so many shops to visit just by walking in a straight line. If you keep moving, you're bound to find something you that interests you, like the shaved ice, surf shops, and snoopy store. For each stop, the tour provides about an hour or two for you to explore yourselves, which is plenty, so you won't have the feeling have being rushed.

I'm sure you'll enjoy the two main stops of the tour, but what made the trip so memorable is the staff and driver of your bus. Our driver was Marlon, and he made it his second priority to make sure everyone in our group knew what options they had before reaching each stop so that we could plan accordingly once we arrive. Of course his first priority was ensuring our safety and comfort, making the tour easier for us to kick back and enjoy. During the extra free time, he even took us to a nearby coffee shop that grows and grinds their own beans. That's something he added to the tour himself since we had free time, but also because he wanted to show us more of the island. He has an excellent sense of humor, and everyone in our group felt comfortable approaching him. He even speaks multiple languages for the passengers that may not be fully fluent in English. During the stops, I noticed him walking around offering to take family photos, starting conversations with people about the places we visited, and answering any questions they had. He is an amazing driver, awesome tour guide, and overall just a friendly person you'd want to have with you when visiting new places.

The ride down the river was so peaceful and beautiful. The walk through the fern grotto was also very pleasant.. beautiful things to see.

The atmosphere of the town felt unchanged, but I was surprised to hear for the first time about the incidents of the stolen Ohtani rock and signs. There were various new shops, but I was able to spend a peaceful time.

Segway, which I wanted to experience at least once since I saw it on TV a few years ago! This time, I participated with my family of four. It was fun to ride along the coast while receiving the gazes and smiles of many people. Remi Hirano's talk was also fantastic! We took a lot of photos (my phone that I handed over was left with only 2% battery, haha). I would love to join again when I go to Hawaii!

I have been using Beltora every year in Hawaii. This time, when I signed up for the Haleakalā sunrise tour, I noticed that the explanation was only in English, so I considered joining the sunset tour with a Japanese driver. However, since I participated in the stargazing tour at the base of Mauna Kea on the Big Island last year, I decided to go for the Haleakalā sunrise tour this time. In conclusion, it was a wonderful experience, and I’m very glad I did it. They lent us warm clothing at the summit, but it was colder than I expected.

今回もハレアカラ山頂の日の出ツアーに申し込むにあたり、英語のみと説明があったので、日本人ドライバーのサンセットツアーにしようかなと考えましたが、昨年はハワイ島でマウナケア山麓星空観測に参加したので、今回はハレアカラ日の出ツアーに申し込みをした。結論としてはとても素晴らしい体験をできたのでとても良かった。山頂は防寒着を貸していただいたが思ってた以上に寒かった。

It was very impressive. I had a standard passport valid for two days, but unfortunately, I could only go for one day due to the length of my stay, which was very disappointing.

At the Battleship Missouri, a guide who spoke in the visitors' language thoroughly showed us the highlights of the ship. You can catch a glimpse of the situation surrounding the outbreak and conclusion of World War II from both Japan's and America's perspectives. I felt the curiosity of how the United States has created such a facility without leaning towards either side.

大変見応えがありました。 2日間有効なスタンダードパスポートだったのですが、滞在日数の関係で1日しか行く事ができなったのがとても残念です。
戦艦ミズーリでは訪問者の言語に合わせたガイドの方が、艦内の見所をしっかり案内して下さいました。
日本、アメリカそれぞれの立場から第二次大戦開戦そして集結の状況を垣間見る事ができます。どちらかに偏る事なくこういう施設をしっかりと作っているアメリカという国の不思議さを感じました。

The sunrise I actually witnessed was so beautiful that it surpassed any video I've seen. The sunrise from the summit of Mauna Kea on the Big Island of Hawaii was truly moving. Our guide took us to a spot where we could see it clearly. I'm glad I prepared well for the cold weather.

実際に見たサンライズの様子はどの動画にも当てはまらないくらい美しいものでした。ハワイ島のマウナケアの山頂から見えてくる朝陽というのも感動でした。ガイドさんが見やすい場所を案内してくれました。寒さ対策を充分して行ったので良かったです。

After researching several options, we chose the Ultimate Hawaii Circle Island Sightseeing tour from Veltra for our mid-April 2026 trip, and it did not disappoint. Our guide, Marcus, was total pro, wWith 15 years of experience, his knowledge and storytelling made the 10-hour journey fly by.

The Highlights:

1) Coffee Farm: Stunning views and a great tasting session in the gift shop.

2) Punaluu Black Sand Beach: We were lucky enough to see sea turtles basking on the sand!

3) Volcanoes National Park: Seeing the steam vents and the scale of the active volcano was easily the highlight of the day.

4) Rainbow Falls: The best panoramic view is actually from the side of the park; the hike to the top isn't strictly necessary for the best photos.

5) Waipio Valley Lookout: Absolutely breathtaking photo opportunities.

The logistics were seamless with a prompt pickup at 7:20 am from the Fairmont Orchid. While it is a long day covering 2/3 of the island, Marcus kept us entertained throughout. Lunch, dinner, snacks, and water were all provided, making for a stress-free experience. Highly recommended!

I went to Pearl Harbor and it was a really interesting place to visit, but there were some parts I liked more than others.

My favorite part was the airplane area. We went to the Top of the Tower (paid extra $10.00 ) and saw 360 degree view of Pearl Harbor. There was one section in the back (kind of like a shed) which I found the coolest planes. I also really liked the submarine. It wasn’t very big, but it was cool because you could see how people actually lived inside. The beds were super small, and it made me imagine how hard life must have been there.

The USS Missouri wasn’t that exciting to me because I didn’t really find anything very interesting there. Also, the bus rides to go back and forth was a little boring and it felt like a waste of time.

We enjoyed our trip to the Dole plantation and on to Haleiwa. Our driver Chris was very knowledgeable and pointed out many of the local points of interest on the way to and from our destination. The train ride at Dole was worth taking and the Dole whip was very tasty. We did a little shopping there to which did not really leave us much time to tour the garden area. It would be a great idea to add 30 minutes more to the time here giving longer to do at least two of the three activities here (train, garden, and maze). The cost of the train & garden combo ticket was $19.99. After that it was on to Haleiwa. Chris gave multiple recommendations on where to eat and we chose the 7 Brothers hamburgers from his list. The hamburgers here did not disappoint. Both my wife and enjoyed our burgers and we split an order of fries. Despite having had breakfast and a Dole whip already that morning the burgers were just so good we had to finish them :-). After some shopping it was time to go back to our hotel. On the way back Chris had some suggestions on things to do and places to see before our time in Hawaii is done.

The only negative comments we had were that the bus seemed a little dated, it had a small problem with its “kneeling” feature and there were no cup holders for our drinks. Would definitely recommend Chris and this trip.

We had such a great time on the Full-Day Hawaii Food Tour. Chris was our guide and he absolutely made the experience. He knew so much about the island and the food, and he kept the whole day running smoothly. Every stop was ready for us, no waiting around, just great food and great stories. Couldn’t have asked for a better guide.

The area were we rode was still wet and muddy. I got a horse who refused to move so was led the entire ride. The Dole plantation party of the tour was too short and the place wasn't even open yet when we arrived, cutting into our time there. The town we visited on the way back was just a time sick, although we found a great burger place to eat lunch. I would not recommend.

Loved the experience! Once in a lifetime so far. Hope to have a repeat someday!!

We had a great time on this tour. David and Cousin Kyle were awesome guides! We liked hearing the history while enjoying the beautiful scenery. Swimming at the waterfall was amazing!

I was taken care of by the guide, Shoutarou. He explained everything alternately in English and Japanese, which made it very easy to understand and I felt安心して参加できました😊. The reservation date was canceled due to bad weather, but when I contacted them, they were able to change it to the next day. I wanted to go to Mauna Kea, so I was very grateful for their対応!!

On the last morning in Honolulu, I signed up for this tour. I chose the earliest pickup time. The day before, I received a text message in English confirming the meeting time and location.

On the morning of the tour, I was waiting to see if someone would come to call my name in the lobby. When a large vehicle arrived, I thought it might be for me, and I should have spoken up, but I waited until I was called. Eventually, about five minutes later, the driver got out of the car and called my name. I thought it would be smoother if they also provided the car's license plate number via text in case no one came to call me.

The same driver was shuttling between the hotel and Diamond Head. Although they said they would pick me up at 8:35, they ended up being 30 minutes late. Since the hotel checkout was until 12:00, I was able to take a shower and change after returning to the hotel before heading to the airport. However, I know some hotels have a 10:00 checkout, so I was surprised by the 30-minute delay on the return trip. Moreover, the excuse was that they had to go to seven different hotels, and that group was late by 2-3 minutes each, causing the 30-minute delay. As I mentioned earlier, I believe if they had called names right away during the gathering, it wouldn't have taken so long.

ホノルル最終日の朝、このツアーに申し込みました。1番早いピックアップ時間に申し込みしました。前日にショートメールが英文で届き待ち合わせ時間と集合場所の確認メールが届きます。
当日の朝、ロビーまで名前を呼びに来るのかな？と思い、待っていました。大きな車が来たからそれかな？と思いこちらからも声をかけたら良かったのですが、呼ばれるまで待っていました。でも結局5分後くらいにその車からドライバーが降りて名前を呼んできました。もし呼びに来ないなら、車のナンバーなどもショートメールで教えてくれたらスムーズだと思った。同じドライバーが一台の車をピストンさせて、ホテルとダイヤモンドヘッドの送迎をしています。帰りは8:35に迎えに来ると言っていたのに結局30分も遅刻してお迎えに来ました。ホテルのチェックアウトが12:00までだったので、今回はホテルに戻った後にシャワーを浴びて着替えてから飛行機に乗れましたがチェックアウトが10:00のホテルもあると思うので帰りの30分の遅刻は、驚きました。しかも、言い訳が7個のホテルを回ってそのグループが2.3分ずつ遅刻して30分遅れたとのこと‥最初にも書きましたが、集合時すぐに名前を呼んで乗車されたらそんなに時間が遅くならないと思いました。

Although I was able to reach the summit of Mauna Kea, unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate, and I was unable to see the sunset or the starry sky. I appreciated that they offered a partial refund when both were not visible.

Even though I couldn't see either, the guide was supposed to explain in English but provided explanations in Japanese instead, and the guidance at the summit was consistently polite and enjoyable. During the restroom break on the way back, they mentioned that we might see some stars, and I was delighted to catch a glimpse of a few through the clouds.

It was such a good tour that I would like to choose a day with better weather and participate in the tour again next time.

両方とも見れない場合は一部料金の払い戻しをしていただけるのはありがたかったです。

両方ともは見えませんでしたが、ガイドの方は英語での説明予定だったのに日本語で説明してくれましたし、山頂での説明や案内も終始丁寧で楽しめました。
帰路のトイレ休憩の際に星が見えるかもと教えてくれて雲間から少し星が見えたりしてフォローが嬉しかったです。

次回は天気がいい日を選んで再度ツアーを参加したいと思えるぐらいいいツアーでした。

This was my first time in Hawaii, and I signed up for a tour to Haleiwa Town and the Dole Plantation that I had been wanting to visit. The guide provided explanations in both Japanese and English, which helped deepen my understanding while also exposing me to English, making the tour enjoyable until the end. At Dole, the guide explained how to enjoy the attractions and the tickets, so I was able to fully enjoy the train ride, pineapple ice cream, and even souvenirs. In Haleiwa, I strolled around and had garlic shrimp and hamburgers. The local atmosphere was great. Since it was a half-day tour, it wasn't too tiring, and it was just right.

今回初めてのハワイで、行きたかったハレイワタウンとドールプランテーションのツアーを申込みました。ガイドさんが日本語と英語で説明をしてくれて、英語にも触れつつ、日本語で理解が深まったので最後まで楽しいツアーでした。ドールでは、楽しみ方のポイントやチケットの説明もしてくれたので、列車やパイナップルアイス、お土産まで満足に楽しむことができました。ハレイワでは、全体を散歩しつつ、ガーリックシュリンプやハンバーガーを食べました。ローカルな雰囲気が良かったです。半日のツアーなので疲れすぎず、ちょうど良かったです。

I chose this tour on a large ship because I was worried about seasickness. The observation deck had some swaying, so I watched from a cabin on the first floor, but I was still able to see the whales' spouts and tails. It seems that those who are less sensitive to motion can see much more from the observation deck. The pineapple banana cake was delicious.

展望デッキは揺れもあったので、1階の客室で見ていましたが、何とかクジラの潮吹きや尾っぽを見ることができました。
揺れに強い方が展望デッキの方がたくさん見れるようです。
パイナップルバナナケーキが美味しかったです。

I received an email the day before asking to change the show time from 8 o'clock to 7 o'clock. Since we could communicate in translation, there was no problem. A cheerful uncle chatted happily as we headed there, and it was fun♪ Even though it was in English, there were no issues.

8時代を7時代に変更してほしい、とショーでメールが前日に届きました。翻訳でやり取りできるので、問題なかった。陽気なおじ様が楽しくおしゃべりしながら向かい、楽しかったです♪英語だけど、問題なしでした。

During the hike up Diamond Head, I was with two Indian people, but for the subsequent tours, I was alone. I was able to receive proper explanations at each location, and I had a very meaningful time with plenty of time to spare. It was great to have enjoyable conversations while traveling as well.

ダイヤモンドヘッド登山の時はインド人2人も一緒でしたが、それ以降のツァーは私1人でした。各地でキチンと説明してもらえて時間も取ってもらえてとても有意義な時間を過ごすことが出来ました。移動中も楽しく話しが出来て良かったです。

We had an absolutely incredible experience on our recent stargazing tour with Yoshi. We brought 4 adults and 4 kids (5-8 years old) to the summit and everyone had a blast. You can never predict Mother Nature so while at the summit (which was very windy and cloudy), Yoshi made the decision to change stargazing locations to another spot a little lower on the mountain and his expertise was rewarded as we were able to watch a beautiful sunset and view the stars from our new spot. It was such a memorable experience for everyone, I would 100% recommend this activity to anyone visiting Maui.
