Waipio Shuttle - An Exceptional Guided Sightseeing Tour of Waipio Valley
Highly recommend the trip - there's no way someone could get all of this on their own

We learned a lot about the day-to-day lives and history of the people in the valley. He was so friendly, welcoming & willing to answer any and all questions. He pointed out local birds & stopped to grab & show us a chameleon from a tree & paused again when a group of wild horses joined on the road. Also, the parking & check-in process were super easy plus the shop had bathrooms, several cute gift options and snacks/coffee available for purchase.

Fantastic Tour Into A Most Special Valley
Reviewed by: Volcam , 2024/04/21My wife and I were treated to a magnificent drive down the unusually steep road into Waipio Valley in the early afternoon of Thursday, 4/18/24. Our tour guide Kaleo is a great young man who has lived in this unique place for most of his life; he grew up here. Kaleo was friendly, very knowledgeable, and very hospitable. He led us to several spectacular sites including waterfalls, lush foliage, and flowing streams. One could readily sense the tremendous power and majesty of this valley. We will treasure the opportunity we had to visit here. Our tour was for 1.75 hours. We HIGHLY recommend taking time to experience this great tour!

The buffet food was better than average. I go to Hawaii every year and we always do luau. This was the more memorable ones. Dessert buffet table was really good too.

Best Luau!

Don't let them ruin it for you. Small copter with doors off is the full woohooo. The ride is smooth and stable enough. The view out the open door is wondrous. Accept nothing less. Watch a video in the comfort of your couch or get the whole experience.

not very impressed
Reviewed by: Oliver, 2024/03/29The boat was comfortable, the captain was friendly and knowledgeable. We got a text in the morning saying that visibility was poor... and it was. We didn't see much. I don't feel like it was worth the price. Maybe a beverage, a snack or a little souvenir could have been included for the $50 we paid.

Deluxe Captain Cook Snorkeling Tour at Kealakekua Bay - Fair Wind Cruises
Our first time, but not our last!
Reviewed by: Michelle M, 2024/03/18We loved everything about this tour! The boat was comfortable and clean and there was plenty of room for our gear. The food was excellent. My husband and I are omnivores, but we thoroughly enjoyed the vegan lunch and breakfast! The snorkeling was so much fun and we were fortunate enough to have perfect weather. We brought our own snorkel equipment and fins, but the boat was equipped with all of that plus life vests, pool noodles, inner tubes, sun screen and anti fog spray for masks. Last, but most importantly, the crew was amazing. Everyone was so caring and helpful and made sure we felt comfortable and safe in the water and out. We will be sure to book with Fair Wind Cruises again when we travel to the Big Island.

Authentic Show!
Reviewed by: David F, 2024/03/09For us it was a true Luau. Not just a Hawaiian show. From weaving headbands to teaching hula dancing. The show was very personable with audience interaction. Food was very good, brought out to the table instead of a buffet bar. It was an all day affair for us. Went to Waimea Falls first and spent some time there and then to the Luau. MC was great. Highly recommend. We stayed on the North Shore so it was very convenient!

Helicopter tour is always a wonderful experience

It’s a great experience. Last time in March 2022 we took three grandsons and son in law. Very fun trip. They have a fantastic time. This time I took a friend who had never been to island. Awesome whale watching adventure

The crew were great, we enjoyed the snacks and drinks. It was just about perfect, loved the boat, could have stayed out on the water for hours if allowed. Definitely will do again and recommend this cruise.
