Careful where you park

The only issue was parking. We were told to park in the lot across from the big banyan tree so we did. We got a $60 ticket for overtime parking. Not pleased!!!!!

The overall experience was good, the children had fun and my son got to go on the floating device with the window. My husband opted for the snub-a experience which he confirms was a blast. The staff was friendly, except one of the employees called me “crazy” which I took slightly offensive. Overall everyone had fun and it was a good experience.

Great day snorkeling with the family

This truly was our best day on Maui. The company did not try to overbook the boat, so we had plenty of room to walk around and take in the views. Lunch was great as well. But best of all was the crew. We had our 10 year old daughter and she had never swam in the ocean. She jumped in and panicked because of how far down she could see. The crew did everything they could until she was 100% comfortable. They gave her a life jacket, pool noodles, a board she could float on and look through a hole to still see fish, and they even let her sit on their surf board so they could push her over to see some turtles they found. After their help on our first snorkel stop, she was good to go on stop 2 and had a blast! We made some great core memories thanks to the crew.

The shows were fantastic. The performers did a fantastic job teaching history. There were two boutiques selling homemade jewelry and wood cravings in the beginning. The food was amazing. I recommend to come hungry because there is a lot of food. Kona was a fantastic server and my girls loved how welcome she made us feel.

This was a great alternative to actual snorkeling. The divers and staff were very informative and very friendly. They made sure everyone was happy and getting the most out of the adventure. However the water was murky and not a lot of ocean creatures. But you see what’s there at that time. Would do again. Certainly an experience we will remember.

Well worth the price and great crew

They had a great crew and did everything to make the trip wonderful: small group and lots of fun. Well worth the price.
The only reason I gave them 4 stars is that we bought water shoes for the trip and found out when we got there it was barefoot only. Would have done things differently had I known.

Maui Whale Watching Tour from Lahaina with Whale Sighting Guarantee [Dec - Apr]

It was later in their Whale season, didn't know if we would see many. We were not disappointed, at one point we were in Whale Jail (surrounded by them). We loved it.

The staff were so knowledgeable, learned so much about the Humpbacks.

Definitely would do this again.

My fiancé and I took the ferry to get away for the day and it was so beautiful over on lanai! Ferry ride was easy and spacious. Be sure to wear sunscreen if you sit up top!

Easy ride over to Lanai

It was a great ride! If you want to sit on top of the ferry and get a good view, be sure to get there early. We saw lots of whales on our way back from Lanai! Take a Dramamine if you get a little motion sickness and you won’t have any issues. The ferry was spacious and super easy to book online. We will definitely be going back to lanai using this service!

The tour guide took us into the ocean beyond the cruise ship (as in the picture below). We saw whales and heard a whale singing from under the Kayaks. Most beautiful experience. I’m not a pro at kayaking, but the guide was always looking out to keep us up with the more avid kayakers. He had all the answers to our questions. Could not snorkel that day as the water was murky. Had a wonderful time. I would do it all over again given the chance.

Lanai Morning Snorkeling Cruise & Dolphin Encounter - Maui Adventure Cruises

The experience was fantastic! We saw dolphins and whales on our way to the snorkeling destination. We saw sea turtles, colorful coral and all types and colors of fish while snorkeling. The crew was very friendly and offered a great (optional) intro for us first timers before we got in the water. Gear was in excellent condition and wet suits, noodles and life belts were offered free of charge. The lunch was good and so were the cocktails provided after snorkeling. We even won a prize for the trivia game we played. All 3 generations in our group loved it and would do it again!

A fun time!

This was a really fun little boat tour. Seeing the fish and sea life through the big windows was so cool. The boat ride wasn’t too long so it was the perfect activity to take our toddler on. The only thing I would caution others about this tour is sea sickness. The rocking of the boat can really be felt underneath it and can definitely make you feel sea sick. It’s probably not a good activity for people that have a tendency to get sea sick, although their staff is super outgoing and helpful to anyone feeling sick during the ride.

I was on a vacation to Maui with friends and we did a day trip to Lanai using this ferry service. The staff were wonderful and went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable during the ride. It was whale season, so we saw many whales during the crossing. The ferry left promptly on time and the captain ensured that we were well informed the entire journey. Highly recommend!

Sat on the top deck and got the trio of a lifetime! We saw 2 whales swimming under and around the boat, and then it happened AGAIN! We saw many whales and a super unique and lucky experience! The crew was awesome, loved the option to sit on 1st or 2nd level- just don’t forget sunscreen like I did. I would do it again!

I strongly recommend doing it! Funny narrator and crew- adds to the experience. Other than cute little coral fishes- we came to the surface and there was a pod of dolphins swimming next to our shuttle boat! The captain was kind enough to go slowly so we all could enjoy this "after party"! Must do experience, unless you are in the Navy, how often would you be in a sub?

Boat was on time and boarding was easy. We went in January when their were a lot of whales in the channel. The captain slowed and drove the boat to maximized our whale viewing! Lovely day!! Get in line early for a top seat on the boat!
