Great tour!

The only downside was the people flew in for the day and we were delayed waiting for them which cut our time short at some of our viewing sites.

Good but...
Reviewed by: Jem, 2017/12/03Our helicopter adventure was good. A few things that could’ve been better was our pilot’s voice could be louder. It was hard to hear him at times. Also, at the end of our helicopter flight, we wanted to buy the USB video of our actual flight and photo but the person responsible for the USB forgot our video in the helicopter. My boyfriend and I wanted to buy both but we couldn’t. We were asked if we could return to the Sunshine Helicopters office in an hour but we couldn’t as we were flying out that day and our schedule was already tight. No other options were able to give us the USB video unless we were to pay shipping to Canada. That option didn’t even guarantee the USB getting delivered to us as it wouldn’t have a tracking number. It just sucked that we didn’t have the chance to get the USB video even when we really wanted to buy it.

間近に感じる「大自然」の荘厳さ

キングコング（リメイク）の美しいビーチなど、
パイロットさんが丁寧に説明＆旋回・接近してくださいました。
英語の説明も聞きやすく、フレンドリーな雰囲気。
1990年代にカウアイ島を襲ったハリケーンの傷跡は、まだあちこちに見られました。
スケールの大きさに圧倒される、大自然の偉大さに触れられる、
貴重な体験でした。
※手荷物をもって搭乗することはできません。
日本人には馴染めなくて、つい忘れがちなパイロットさんへのチップ。
チップ用の紙幣は、必ずご持参ください！！

Reviewed by: MR、M5, 2017/11/06リフエ空港へのピックアップが、30分も待たされて、ガッカリでしたが、空港に居たのに唯一の日本語が出来る、インフォメーションの方に大変お世話になりまして、ロコタイムもなんとか、我慢出来ましたが、そ後のヘリのフライトは、キャプテンの操縦も上手で、酔うどころか、ヘリでしか見えない古き大自然のハワイの原点が見れてとても満足でした。できれば、もう一周して欲しかったです。是非、英語解らなくても、ファーストクラスはおススメです。

Hi lights / low points
Reviewed by: Mike, 2016/09/16Had 21 people on a bus that holds 24. Ended up in back row of bus with inadequate air conditioning. If you are taller than 5' 9" and over 180 you will not be comfortable.
Your was nice. Guide and driver were great. Lunch was very mediocre.
Unless you are really into older movies, I would not recommend this tour.

Helpful and Informative. Highly recommended!
Reviewed by: Kansas620, 2016/09/08We were on this tour on the island of Kauai, as two hurricanes were predicted to hit the Hawaiian Islands. The tour staff were so helpful in helping us prepare in the event of a hurricane (which did not hit, thankfully.) They took their time and even stopped by the WalMart for us to buy some items in case of power outage.
Wendy was our tour guide, and Anthony was our driver. We were in awe of the amount of information these two have about the history, culture, movie stars, and environment. Wendy is hilarious! Not only is she a wealth of information, she kept us laughing the whole trip.
The tour is as advertised. We felt this tour was a very good value for the price paid, and highly recommend this tour!!
The lunch was very good, too.

Reviewed by: めぐみ, 2016/08/20ヘリコプターツアーは中々見るのとのできない、カウアイ島の中心部などを見れますし、地上からは見れない景色が最高でした！
ナパリコーストは海と山のコントラストが非常に綺麗でした！
ただ、この日はまだ台風の影響があり少しモヤがかかってしまったのが残念だしたが、一日前は
全てキャンセルになってしまったみたいなので運が良かったです。みなさんも参加される際は天気予報をチェックしてください。
乗り物酔いがある人は結構キツイかもしれないです。割りと揺れます。私は吐いてしまいましたが、ちゃんとビニール袋も用意されてるのでご安心ください。
予約する際は是非ともファーストクラス席にしてください。5,000円しか違わないのであれば、絶対にするべきです。
パイロットの隣席になります。景色をよく見れました。
後ろは4人席になっており、真ん中になってしまうというあまり見れないかと思います。
また、ヘリコプターツアーの事務所での説明、ヘリコプター内での説明は全て英語になりますので、少し難しいかも知らないです。軽い日本語の説明書はくれます。
是非カウアイ島に来たのであれば、このツアーを入れてみてください！きっと、もっと楽しいカウアイ島旅行になると思います。

感動
Reviewed by: TERUTERU, 2016/07/03このヘリコプターツアーは、カウアイ島旅行のメインイベントで最大の目的でした。乗客は私の他にカップルが2組、5名です。座席は左の窓側に指定されました。ヘッドホンを付けるとパイロットが英語でガイドをしてくれました。早口でよくわかりませんでした。しかし、窓の外の風景には感激でした。ワイメア渓谷とナパリコーストを空から上から見たいという願いが叶いました。ビデオを取ることに必死でした。パイロットは右や左に旋回してくれて右側の乗客と左側の乗客に均等にシャーッターチャンスを作ってくれました。上からとさらに渓谷の中程まで降りて岩肌に最接近したりサービス満点でした。

渓谷の中を、幾筋もの糸のような滝が流れとても綺麗でした。稜線はユニークでジュラシックパークの撮影が行なわれたのも納得です。恐竜の時代かと錯覚します。
海側も切り立ったがけが続き、島全体が多様な風景tを持っています。ヘリツアーお勧めします。i

思い切ってファーストクラスを選んで正解でした。
前の席と後ろの席とでは、雲泥の差だったはず。多少高額でも、ファーストクラスをお勧めします。
説明から何から、全部英語ですが、それほど英語の能力が高くなくても、何とか理解できます。

朝早くの支度が大変だったのに、予定の時刻になかなか迎えに来てくれませんでした。結局、30分ほど待ちぼうけをくらって、ホテルのベルデスクに電話してもらってやっと来てくれた有様です。帰りも声すらかけてくれずに、仕方なく自分たちでホテルに帰りました。幸いホテルはツアー会社（サンシャインヘリコプター）の近くだったので事なきを得ましたが、とても不愉快な思いをしました。肝心の遊覧ですが、英語の案内が良くわからないことは満足度が低い要因の一つでしたし、期待していたナパリコーストも、もう少し海のほうから飛んでくれたら臨場感が増したのにと思いました。いずれにしてもツアー代金が高過ぎで、今ひとつ景色の残像が頭に残りません。これがファーストクラスでなかったらなおさら印象に残らなかったのではないでしょうか。結果的には、ボートでナパリコーストを巡るツアーに参加すれば良かったと後悔してしまいました。もうヘリコプターツアーには参加することはないでしょう。ついでにもう一つ。買おうと思っていた写真ですが高過ぎです。写真立てなんかいらないので、写真だけ安く販売すればいいのに。

Kauai Movie Excursion and Hanalei Bay Tour Review

The movie tour on Kauai is the perfect treat for not only movie fans such as me and my husband but for those who love seeing the beauty of Kauai. As it combines clips of scenes from famous, and some not so famous, movies filmed on the Island. It’s an easy six hours of entertainment as the tour guide fills you with fun facts of the movies with the reality of what actually had to occur (or not occur in some cases) for the film to be made. Bleeps of scenes and inaccuracies are pointed out with amusement such as scenes that go from one far corner of the Island into the mountains with the flash of the camera such as in the Elvis movie “Blue Hawaii.”
For a modest cost, my husband and I enjoyed touring Hawaii and meeting other tourists and having lunch (choice of Burgers; Pulled Pork and Chicken Sandwiches and Salads for the vegetarians) at the wonderful restaurant, Tahiti Nui, used in the film “The Descendants.” We even got to meet Julia, the real bartender in the movie.
The tour guide was professional, courteous and funny and went out of his way to point out great restaurants and frequent stops for pictures.
We highly recommend this for anyone as a wonderful way to tour Kauai and enjoy movie making at its most magical.

大変素晴らしかったです
Reviewed by: masa, 2015/11/09初めてのカウアイ島で島の全景を見られるということでこのツアーに申し込みました。以前ビクトリア滝でヘリコプターに乗ったことはありますが、今回は特徴的な谷間を自由に飛行し、素晴らしい景観を堪能できました。体験談を見てファーストクラスに申し込みましたが、その中でファーストクラスに申し込んだが手違いでスタンダードに乗せられたというのがあり、登場順を聞いた時に５,６と言われ、ひょっとして間違いではと思い登場前に確認したところ、１から４がスタンダード、５,６がファーストと言われ安心しました（１から順に後部座席から乗り５,６が最後でパイロット席の隣に案内されます） 景色を楽しむにも写真を撮るにも障害がなく、多少お高いですがファーストクラスにして良かったと思います。

Alii Movie Tour in Kauai
Reviewed by: Nancy Ray, 2015/10/30The Movie Tour with Johna, our Tour Guide was very informative and enjoyable because she was actually a native from Kauai. She brought in alot of details concerning the movie areas that we saw. I have been a movie buff for over 60 years and to see and hear about how the movie director used these areas was very exciting. The movie DVDs were very important for the touring people to identify the movies and with Johna explaining the how and wheres of each movie site , it made everything fit so perfectly. Each of the movies I have seen at least twice, even Lilo and Stitch and seeing the filming sites of "Jurassic Park", "Raiders of the Lost Arc" and "Dragonfly "were my favorites. Of course, "Elvis Presly", in my day, was the King and to see some of the filming sites of his movies and where he stayed was exciting. The Movie "Descendents" really showed the beauty and vastness of Kauai and the were got to eat at the same place the actors in the movie ate, Tahiti Nui. How fun was that!!!!!! The Hanalei Peir was very unique and I remember seeing it in several movies. The bridge that was in "Soul Surfer" was amazing and I really never thoght about it being only a one car at a time bridge. I hadn't seen one of those in forever.
The weather was awesome, at times it was sunny and then in the after noon we got some afternoon showers which made it even more fun and interesting.
This was the best tour ever. I could go on for days, but I won't. I have and will recommend this to to any and everyone I meet. Thank You for Your Tour Service and for our wonderful Tour Guide, "Johna".

ツアー自体は良いが

当日チェックインしていざヘリコプター乗り場に搭乗前に記念撮影その後搭乗予約てるはずの全席ご案内では無く後方に案内され文句を言いましたが聞く耳持たず仕方なくそのままフライト
降りた後チェックインカウンターで文句を言い差額の返金と記念撮影の写真をお詫びに貰いましたが非常に後味悪かったです。
問題点もいくつかあると思います。
チェックインの時に確認しなかった自分も悪いですしvoucherの文字が小さすぎるので見落とす等

今回の内容を現地催行会社に確認させていただきましたところ、手配ミスとのことでございました。
現地スタッフの対応につきましても、バウチャーの確認が不十分であっただけではなく、お客様への気遣いや配慮が欠けており、ご不快なお気持ちにさせてしまいましたことお詫び申し上げます。
現地催行会社に厳重に注意させていただきますとともに、今後の再発防止に努めさせていただきます。
