If You're A Movie Buff, Sam's THE MAN!

We took the tour on June 18, 2015. My husband and I were the first to be picked up, last to be dropped off, so this tour was much longer for us than it was for those picked up last/dropped off first. We were tired by the end, but happy to have been able to see the extra filming sites and watch more of the associated film clips in that time. it was nice that the very knowledgeable tour guide, Sam, did that. He also edited the clips, so he really knows his stuff. (I was a film major in college, so I had high expectations for this tour, and Sam not only met but exceeded them.)
Sam is a professional musician, and he also serenaded our group by singing and playing his ukelele several times at stops long the way, which was absolutely charming. I don't want to give away everything - you really will enjoy it more if you allow yourself to be pleasantly surprised. But this tour is jam-packed with film trivia and celebrity trivia and so many stops along the way, all accompanied by corresponding film clips.
Our lunch destination was AWESOME! The food was OK, not amazing or anything, but the ambience was TRULY OUTSTANDING, for film buffs!!!!!
My husband and I meant to take the drive back up to the North Shore of Kuaui again sometime during our 1-week stay, but we never did make it back up there. We weren't too upset, though, because we felt like we got to see so much of it on this movie tour.
This was our favorite tour of the vacation, by far. (We also flew to Oahu for a one-day tour which was basically a "Stop and Shop" tour), and on Kuaui we toured Allerton Gardens and went on a helicopter.) This movie tour is long, but well worth the time spent.

送迎付きなのでとても楽でした。
ハワイには様々な島でのヘリコプターツアーがありますがカウアイ島が最もお勧めです。
山、海、渓谷と小さな島のなかで見どころがてんこ盛りです（笑）
金額も手頃（今回はセールでラッキー！）なのでまた行きたいと思っています。

ヘリコプターの安全な乗り方、説明など、英語は必ずわからないと危険だと思います。同行した母の通訳をしていたのですが、ヘリコプターに乗ってしまうと乗客同士で会話ができず、パイロットの声のみになるので、簡単な英語はわからないとちんぷんかんぷんだと思います。簡単な英語さえわかれば完璧！安全で楽しい空の旅でした！

天気に恵まれ、ナパリ.コーストやらの渓谷美を楽しめました。さらに鯨の家族も間近に見ることができ、感動ものでした。後日、渓谷にドライブし、ヘリからみた景色と重ねることが出来、二度美味しいって感じでした。ぜひ、ファーストクラスで乗ることをお勧めします。

ハネムーンで利用しました。天気にも恵まれ、ナパリコーストの辺りは少し霞んでいましたが全体的に良く見えました。ここでしか出来ない素晴らしい体験だと思います。映画のワンシーンのようでした。2人乗りで申し込んだのですが、実際は6人乗りの前列二席でした。でもパイロットの隣で一番眺めが良い席になり満足でした。ヘリコプターに乗るのは初めてで、50分ほど？のフライトで途中から少々酔いました。元々乗り物酔いし易い体質ですが、比較的体力は必要なツアーかもしれません。（でも欧米人の年配の方も多く参加していました）また搭乗前の注意説明から上空での説明まで、全て英語でおこなわれます。

Super fun!!

We had so much fun ziplining! Perfect for our family (2 teenagers). The dip part of the trip was our own private oasis - so totally cool!! The guides were great!9 I highly recommend to anyone.

今回は滞在日数が3日間という短い時間しかありませんでしたので、とにかく限られた時間内でカウアイ島のすべてを楽しもうと思い、初日にまずこのヘリコプターツアーを申し込みました。ツアー会社の方も皆さん陽気でしたが、パイロットのグレッグさんも非常に良い方で、出発前の記念撮影もバッチリOK。ファーストクラスと呼ばれるヘリの前列シートに乗りましたが、ちょっとお高い料金の分はありました。あの険しい山を上がり切った先には深い峡谷、前列シートでは味わえないスリル満点。でも決して恐怖心は出なかったのが不思議です。アッという間の1時間のフライトでしたが、カウアイの島を全景を楽しむことができ、大満足でした。次回はもっと長い時間飛んでみたいと思います。

ナパリコーストを見るためヘリコプターツアーに参加しました。
空港に行く前に別の場所にある本部のような所に行ったのですが、わかりにくい場所にあったためホテルまでの送迎付きでしたので助かりました。
ある程度英語が理解できればより楽しめる事は間違いありませんが、基本的には話せなくても問題は無いかと思いました。
最後に、フライト前日の飲酒は控えめにしておかれることをオススメします。

家族4名自由席で申し込みました。カウアイ島ホテルへ到着しチェックインをするときに、ツアーの確認、当日の集合場所と時間の確認の電話があったと聞き大変安心しました。
当日時間通りに迎えが来ました。まずオフィスに案内され、注意事項が日本語で書かれた紙を渡され、英語での説明を聞きました。
オフィスから車で空港横へ移動、体重によって席が決められました。
2グループそれぞれ6名ずつ椅子に座って待ちます。
前方席は、英語が分かる人と書かれてたので自由席で申し込みましたが、人数と体重のバランスだと思いますが、ラッキーなことに前方席に座ることが出来ました。

パイロットさんは、英語しか話せないのでフライト中の説明も英語でした。
ところどころ地名や年代など理解出来ましたが、説明が分からなくてもすばらしい景色だけで十分です。カウアイ島を約1時間上空からの観光オススメです。
決してお値段は安くないですが、とてもいい思い出になります。

他にもヘリコプターツアーがありますが、日本語での案内のところもあるかも知れません。
乗り場には、他のツアーのヘリコプターがありました。人気のツアーのようでどこも次から次にお客さんが来て待ってました。
値段は、このツアーが一番安いと思います。
ヘリコプターに詳しくないですが、きれいなヘリコプターです。

We had a great time on this tour - It was also nice that they picked us up from/dropped us off at our hotel. We saw a ton of sights, got some AMAZING scenery shots, learned a lot, and it familiarized us with the island. The tour guide was funny, knowledgeable and really nice. Would do it again in a heartbeat!

今回、両親と初めての旅行と言う事で、足も悪いというのもあり効率を考えヘリコプターのツアーに参加させて頂きました。
日本語が話せる人はいらっしゃらなかったのですが、日本語文の説明書きがあったりと、安心して参加できました。
ツアーに関しましても、英語での説明なので理解はできませんでしたが、言葉がいらないくらいの景色は一見の価値ありです。
でも、欲を言いますと、日本語の説明があれば、尚良いですけど・・・
両親共々、大変満足出来ました。

Movie Tour

The reason I rated this tour "Good" is because my husband thinks it was great, and I think it was so-so. Maybe, it's because I don't watch TV often enough and have no idea about movies mentioned on the tour. Unfortunately, we did not stop in the area, where they filmed those few movies I actually watched and liked, so it was a big disappointment for me.

I would not recommend this tour if TV shows or movies are not your passion.

英語の説明は半分しかわからなかったが、パイロットの操縦は安心して景色を楽しめるものでした。海上のくじらの群れを教えていただいたり、山肌ギリギリまで近寄ってくれ、いままでのいい加減なヘリツアーとは全く異なるものでした。

Fabulous Time!

When Sam, our guide for the day, picked up my wife and I at our hotel, on time, we thought he was taking us to another location to meet up with a busload of other people for our movie tour. Instead, he said it was just the three of us on today's tour, off on a day of movie magic.
After sharing some of our favorite Kauai filmed movies with Sam, he made sure he highlighted several of the filming locations along the way. My wife and I never knew there were so many movies filmed on Kauai and so many spectacular locations to see. Sam was involved in pre-production scouting of locations for "The Descendants" and so was very knowledgeable about scenes from that movie and scores of others.
Sam personalized our tour for us, even fulfilling my request for a Bubba Burger and shave ice. He was a ukulele master musician and serenaded us at several stops along the way.
This tour made for a day in paradise that we will never forget!

往復送迎付きでお得感たっぷり♪ Translate

時間が限られた滞在だったので、カウアイ島の全景が見られるヘリコプターツアーに参加することにしました。ヘリコプターの後部座席だと風景が見えにくい可能性があるかと思い、ファーストクラス指定で参加しました。ファーストクラス指定にすると、パイロットの横の席に座ることが出来ます。

ヘリコプターツアーはとてもスムーズで、ほとんど揺れもなく、快適に1周することが出来ました。ジュラシックパークの滝、ナパリコースト、ワイメアキャノン、ワイルアリバー、プリンスヴィルなどをざっと上空から眺めることが出来て、大変満足でした。

ただ、もともと2時出発予定だったのに、予告なく2時半出発になってしまった点で☆一つ減。子どもを預けての参加だったので、30分遅れになったのは痛かったです。託児所が少し遅れてのピックアップも大目に見てくれたので助かりましたが・・・。

ポイプからリフエのヘリポートまで往復で無料送迎が付いていたので、レンタカーの無い人にもお勧めです。

Very nice partly cloudy and 75 degrees at check-in at 7:15 am. Seemed to wait forever before getting to the pad around 8... safety talk.. what to do in case... The driver and safety guy... sorry I forgot their names.. were high energy and very comedic.. fun... from there on it was down hill.

We were always really high up... and far away.. ok save once. The pilot was canned and dull... no humor... his favorite sentence was "isn't it beautiful" He must have muttered it a hundred times, so yea, it was beautiful... tell us something we don't know... which he did on 4 or 5 occasions... I did not know it was the 50th anniversary of Elvis' Blue Hawaii... I know dealing with the public and doing the same flight and talk 7-9 times a day is going to get boring... but geez.. next time DON'T SAY ANYTHING!

予約完全無視のいい加減な対応でした Translate

ファーストクラスを予約しました。国内で1回、現地に到着してすぐに1回、前日の朝にリコンファームをして朝から車で2時間かけて事務所に行くと、ファーストクラスはキャンセルになっており、返金を受け取るかやめるか選択しろと言います。理由を聞くと客が少ないので間引いた。そしてもうひと組の予約の方が早かったからそちらをファーストクラスとしたという説明です。そして約束の時間が来ても誰も来ません、つまりは次のフライトに組み込まれ1時間さらにまたされたわけです。つまり2時間の時間が無駄になってしまいました。それでもキャンセルすれば一日ぼうにふってしまいますので仕方なく乗ることにしました。するとなんと私の席はヘリのど真ん中、せっかく3キロもあるカメラを国内から準備していったのに何も撮れませんでした。しかも真ん中の席で酔ってしまいました。店からは最後の最後に一言I'm sorry.です。散々文句をいいましたらＤＶＤをただで送るから住所を書けと言われました。予約の意味もありませんし、その対応の悪さと言ったら今まで受けた侮辱のなかでもトップクラスです。こんなことなら他の業者にお願いすればどうせ体重は軽いのだから前の席になっていただろうから、そちらのほうがずっと良かったと本当に後悔しています。ちなみにファーストクラスがそのようにされた場合右の席をなんとか交渉して確保することをお勧めします。断崖が良く見える席です。

the welcome was warm and easily put everyone at ease ..
the sale gimmick of taking a photo near the helicopter nad selling it at a exhorbitant price soured the experience to some extent..suggesstion is to give it as a momento at a throwaway price..the good will it would create would build the brand immensely..
