Awesome time to drink and see sights from the water

Waikiki Island Magic Catamaran Sunset Cruise
Reviewed by: Tommy , 2014/07/23First off, the employees at VELTRA went out of their way to ensure our booking was confirmed and they even delivered a confirmation page for our sunset cruise directly to our hotel. Absolutely fabulous service all around !
When we arrived at the beach at the required check in time, friendly staff welcomed us as we waited to board.
Once onboard, the crew went above and beyond to ensure everyone had an amazing time! Even though this is listed as a " Cocktail Sail " , it was also a very family friendly atmosphere for our teenage Daughter as well, she had a most enjoyable time and not to worry, they have a variety of free non- alcoholic beverages available onboard too. They offer a photo option of your family / group prior to boarding which we normally would not buy but the background and picture quality came out so incredible and was worth the 15 dollar fee ,they have the print in a cardboard folder waiting for you upon your return to shore if you decide to purchase it.
This sunset cruise was a superb value for the low price , from the amazing Crew, to the smooth and safe sailing , and the fun music and relaxing atmosphere , it was a great way to meet so many other nice people on our Hawaiian Vacation! This was one of our top experiences on Oahu.
Simply put, we cannot wait to do it again on our next visit to Waikiki!

Picture Perfect Romance
Reviewed by: Kristilynn, 2014/07/20Most relaxing sail into a magnificent sunset. Surrounded by other vessels in the bay, we had perfect seat for the fireworks. With a slight glow in the sky, and a breeze rustling through our hair the sail was the perfect Friday night date. The specialty drink in the shaker is SO good and even big enough to share! Now I have a special cute little momento of that Serene night holding my one and only's hand while we sail on the darkening sea. Would absolutely do again.

Awesome time

Nice & Relaxing

We were promptly greeted and seated on time, offered our choice of beverages and entertained by both passengers and crew. The cruise itself was calm and uneventful providing an ideal view of the coastline and the sunset. Travis (crew) bent over backwards to ensure all had a positive experience!

Beautiful

The island was beautiful, the sunset amazing, and we saw a whale and her baby whale no further than 200m from us! Fantastic!

Can't lose with a booze cruise!!!
Reviewed by: Nina B., 2014/03/26This cruise was awesome! Booked it as a gift for my boyfriend and we had a blast. The crew was friendly, Ryan helped break the ice with the group. I was especially looking forward to the open bar and was happily surprised by a DELICIOUS specialty cocktail they had pre made. We were lucky enough to see a whale breach not far from us while we were sailing. I will definitely recommend this to everyone I know- such a great way to spend a few hours.

Saw whales as a bonus, the Captain and crew were excellent and helpful with local information. Cocktails great, would highly recommend anyone to go and experience thesail off the beach at Waikiki. A fun time on the catamaran.

It was a little cloudy out at times and rained on us for a bit, but just looking at the city while in the water, the beautiful shots of Diamond Head Cater, other boats passing us make for a truly fun evening. I had a great time and something again that didn't tie up your whole evening. I hope do this again in a heartbeat!

Better than expected!

Great for adults and "of age" kids.

The drinks were flowing and the captain and bartender did a great job keeping everyone topped off! Ship was beautiful. Nice circuit of the cruise around Waikiki and Diamond Head. Reccomend highly.

What a night - hahahaha! Yeah, WHAT A NIGHT! If you are in Waikiki you will WANT to take a sail out ... I went on a few and this one - by far - had the biggest drink cups!

Good Times!!!

While we were sailing out in the deep blue ocean enjoying our tasty drinks and listening to the tunes, it just automatically becomes the perfect combination to get everyone in a mood to socialize, move around and even dance on-board! The best part about the whole cruise was the gorgeous sunset (besides the OPEN bar).
I would definitely recommend this to my friends and to everyone I know!! Thank you so much for a wonderful time!

We had so much fun, and I enjoyed the sea, from the sea! I have always been a beach lover, but sailing, WOW it's breath-taking. I would do it again if I ever have the good fortune to return. The crew made sure everyone had the best time. The drinks were great, and music too. It was one of the best times of my life. AND we could afford this one!! Thank you!!

We made some new friends on the cruise who are locals, I told them I hadn't expected to meet and locals since I thought it was more of a tourist activity they said it's the best value for your money on Oahu! It was so much fun! A tip: bring along your camera, a few ones to tip the bar tender and $5 to purchase the "shaker" (which is optional). And for the ladies... YES! there is a potty on board!

Thank you for your great review! The previous vessel, the Waikiki Rigger retired in October 2013 so we are currently leasing the Island Magic. The exciting news is, we are building a brand new 45 foot, 49 passenger catamaran which will be here in 2015.
