Had a blast!!

Reviewed by: Aimee, 2012/09/03

Cousin Flo was our guide and she made the experience 10x better. She got everyone pumped up and ready for the luau. When we arrived, they took our picture (available for $15 at the end of the night) and we got our complimentary mai tai drink (alcohol/non alcohol). They gave us over an hour to wander off on our own and do activities. Ladies make sure you get a flower headband made!

Use your time wisely. Waiting in line to do an activity can take up to 15 minutes. We waited in line for another drink for about 20 minutes. Keep in mind while you're doing the activities they have you listen for the sound of the shell. You have to drop what youre doing and follow that person for a demonstration. Thats the only downfall i felt there was too much going on. It took away some time from taking pictures and soaking up the view.

The food was good and the show was amazing. The view is breathtaking especially at sunset. You're sitting outside right by the water. Its a great experience. Ive be

The package includes a lei, coffee cup, souivener picture, 4 course meal that is served to you. I will go again when I am back in Hawaii.

Good Luau

Reviewed by: Mr. Anonymous, 2012/07/16

As we have done a couple Luaus before I knew what to expect. This is a pretty good one - their location is fantastic - much better than Germaine's. And really loved the Hawaiian activities before the dinner. The food and drinks were average though. The drinks at Germaine's were a lot stronger. This Luau was also a little more restrained - better for families and older couples? Germaine's was a lot more fun and relaxed.

I thought the luau was okay, but was frankly surprised how simple the meal was and it was not very good. The overall event was okay but I would not recommend this luau at least for the price we paid.

The luau was great. Entertainment out of this world. I can't speak highly enough about this activity.
Lovely to see the sun set. Paradise.
There was four of us, my husband, myself and two grand-daughters aged eight and eleven.
We didn't pay extra for the seating and I am glad we didn't as the view was super were ever you sat.

Fantastic food... and when you're booking a luau - that's I guess - what you REALLY look for. You're guaranteed to feel full and satisfied, probably the best food I've had at a luau.
The pre-entertainment is fun - something for everyone to try and watching them carry the pig out of the ground as the sun sets is pretty magical! What an amazing venue - the sunset is spectacular there and the staff are all fun (and gorgeous!!!!)

A Night to Remember

Reviewed by: Heather, 2012/04/01

Honestly, I hardly remember the actual luau. My boyfriend somehow managed to get me on stage and proposed to me in front of hundreds of people. The whole staff was in on it. I was called up as the winner of a raffle drawing! And when I thought they were bringing out my prize, out comes my boyfriend with a microphone! The whole crowd was very involved, from telling him to "Get on your knee!" to begging me to "Say yes!" They laughed, they awwed, they cheered. It was amazing. Unfortunately, I spent the rest of the show making phone calls telling everyone in my life the news. I will definitely be returned to the Paradise Cove Luau so that I can actually enjoy the full show!

I saved this luau for my last night in Hawaii and I booked the deluxe package and highly recommend it to anyone who can afford to spend the $150. It was definitely an awesome deal!
Tusi was our party guide. Awesome gorgeous guy that cracked jokes all night long.
Arriving at Paradise Cove we were immediately greeted with drinks (if you're 21+) and leis. If you are 21+ you'll need to bring your ID. Included in the deluxe package is a complimentary photo with some of the luau dancers (otherwise you pay $15). All the dancers are very attractive so you'll want this ;)
We arrived around 5pm and the actual dinner doesn't start until 7pm. You can snack before hand, but the dinner is SO good and filling that you might not have room for the whole meal if you eat before hand.
From 5-7pm they have all types of complimentary activities including temporary hawaiian tattoos, flower bracelet/headband crafts, canoe rides, shower of flower event, hula lessons, etc...
Make sure you bring money to

GOOD TIMES!!

Reviewed by: Repeat Offender, 2012/01/27

This was my third luau at Paradise Cove; it was a impressive as the first time I attended. The experience was well-organized and enjoyable; starting and ending with the shuttle ride to and fro. This was the first time with kids, what a memorable family experience, not just a couple’s thing. The food, sites, sounds, entertainment and staff provide a cultural experience that is unique and authentic; not to mention the picturesque views from the cove - fabulous. If you are contemplating a luau while on the island, this is the one you want to attend. Good times!!

Very Ordinary Meal

Reviewed by: Jack Powell, 2011/11/02

This was my first, and probably the only trip to Hawaii. The description of the Luau sound wonderful, and the entertainment is truly very good. The food is very ordinary however. I did not expect to eat a fried chicken thigh (the only choice)! The pork was very salty and everything else very bland tasting. If you have a choice, go somewhere else for the meal. The "upgrade" to front row is also not worth the extra price. You can see very well from the least expensive seats.

First off, go all out and get the top-of-the-line package because you are treated like a king/queen. As a first-time visit for my girlfriend, she was enthralled. From the moment you walk in, each aspect of the visit is well-planned. The staff is exceptionally friendly, the food well prepared and the show a treat to behold. You won't be disappointed!

I would highly recommend this activity as a 'must do' during your Hawaii vacation.

The whole tour, from initial booking via Hawai Activities, to collection from our hotel, transport, and the Luau experience at Paradise Cove was sensational!

The tour guide Pomai was entertaining and knowledgable and 'included' everyone as a family unit. The staff at Paradise Cove were friendly and helpful and their enthusiasm and smiles made the experience unique and breathtaking.

The hospitality, food and entertainment was second to none.

One of our best holiday experiences ever!!!!

Paradise Cove Luau

Reviewed by: Mr. Anonymous, 2011/07/30

The luau was good. The only thing I would suggest is to not have the people waiting outside so before getting on the bus. The temperature outside was already hot and then the heat from the bus's engine made it worst. We waited outside the bus for 45 minutes before we could get on.
