Fun and Informative experience
Reviewed by: PatO, 2024/04/06Beautiful setting for a Maui experience! A chance to see all of those native Hawaiian creatures you might have not seen on a snorkeling adventure. Nicely positioned in the Maalaea Harbor which includes shopping and dining experiences and is the departure point of many of Maui's tours.

Great last day visit option at Maui Ocean Cemter
Reviewed by: Alan from Colorado, 2022/07/01We had a late flight our last day in Maui so we wanted something fun and easy to do after we checked out of our condo. The MauI Ocean Center was a really fun time and educational to boot. There is a mix of outdoor and indoor spaces, an interactive show on feeding the sharks and rays, and plenty of exhibits that allow you up close views of the fish and turtles we saw while snorkeling.
The 3d video on whales was well done and the crowds were light enough to allow us good access to all the different viewing areas.

Aquarium of Hawaii

Extensively informative!
Reviewed by: Susan - Oregon, 2017/03/09Pleasant and informative venue. I went with a lifelong friend of mine and we enjoyed every moment of it. All of the displays were well thought out and enjoyable. I bought the CD so I could review it when I get home and share it with my nine-year-old grandson.

Maui Ocean Center

Great Aquarium
Reviewed by: BeachBoy, 2014/06/18I didn't know what to expect before I got there, but they surprised me. The facility was very clean and organized, and the exhibitions were great. I learned so much about Hawaii's marine life, and they had a lot of unique species that only available in Hawaii.
I was impressed by the shark exhibition. I could be there all day watching these magnificent creatures. A perfect for everyone who is interested in the marine life. I went to the snorkel tour the next day, and I got to see some of the fish I saw at the Maui Ocean Center so it was very educational.
