Great last day visit option at Maui Ocean Cemter

We had a late flight our last day in Maui so we wanted something fun and easy to do after we checked out of our condo. The MauI Ocean Center was a really fun time and educational to boot. There is a mix of outdoor and indoor spaces, an interactive show on feeding the sharks and rays, and plenty of exhibits that allow you up close views of the fish and turtles we saw while snorkeling.
The 3d video on whales was well done and the crowds were light enough to allow us good access to all the different viewing areas.

Drums of the Pacific Luau with Open Bar at Kaanapali Hyatt Regency Maui / Standard Luau Package
Our first luau, some great some not so great

This is our first luau so not a lot to compare it to. Check in was super easy and the staff was great. The show
Overall the performers were talented and we appreciated that it was a show of different styles of traditional dance from several Pacific islands. The fire dance at the end was fantatic as well. It was hard to understand some of what was going on as the audio was not super clear and we were disappointed that our table was situated where we could only see 2/3 of the stage.
The meal
The appetizer and desert were really good, poke and Mac salad with pineapple and desert was coconut cream cake.What was not good was the main dish...dry mahi mahi, dry steak and dry pulled pork with rice in middle...really a big let-down.
All in all a mixed bag...great performers but a bit of a let down with the obstructed view and less than stellar meal.

Sea Maui Stand-Up Paddleboard Lesson at Kaanapali Beach - Private & Group Tours / Group Lesson
Fantastic SUP Lesson

We had a family stand up paddleboard lesson with Sea Maui Surf. Due to the high swells they moved us up to an earlier time and it worked out great. Devin did a good job coaching us through the lesson and spent the entire time helping my wife and daughter,coaching and encouraging. I cannot recommend them enough!
