I joined a tour that departed in the afternoon. I skipped lunch expecting some light snacks, but what was served were just some snack bites and fruit, which was a bit disappointing. The drinks were free except for alcohol, but since we were on a boat, it felt awkward to go to the restroom, so I couldn't drink too much. However, I did get to see whales that I wouldn't have seen on land, so it was okay.
If you want to take good photos of the whales, you need a serious camera with a telephoto lens and shoot in burst mode, otherwise, you'll end up with photos where you can't even tell where the whale is. My IXUS was completely useless for whale photography.

This is an experience well worth the early wake up call. Bob is a very knowledgable and entertaining tour guide. I reconmmend you ask for him too!! This is an experience we will never forget. One that all visitors to Maui should do!

This is a new show being offered by the Royal Hawaiian. I had attended their old show several years ago and enjoyed it so much that I thought I would check out this one. I was not disappointed! This is a great show with a wonderful easy to follow storyline. The performers were extremely talented and appeared to truly be enjoying what they were doing. I should comment that this show is designed for a more adult/senior audience where the recommended dress is less casual and the menu is very extensive and in a more formal type dining atmosphere.

Our guides were friendly and very informative sharing lots of detail, Pearl Harbor was moving and very special, and the USS Missouri was impressive. This is a great tour, though you spend a lot of time on the shuttle while going through Honolulu

Last year, I participated for the first time, and my entire family was moved, so even though the members were different this year, it was still an emotional experience. Above all, having dinner while watching the sunset and the show afterward gave everyone goosebumps and filled us with satisfaction. If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend participating. I'm sure it will be a wonderful memory of Hawaii.

I have booked all my Pearl Harbor Tours over the years with Hawaii Activities and have always had a great day. This was a new tour being offered and I thought that it would be the perfect tour that would allow me to visit four major WWII sites in one full comprehensive day. It met all of my expectations and then some. The actual tour was very informative and moving. Our driver/guide, Francis, did a fantastic job during a day filled with problems. First, the bus was running late with all the different pick-ups and it didn’t reach my hotel until a half-hour after my scheduled pick-up time. Then we had to meet another bus and transfer all those people to our bus. This made us later yet and put us right in the middle of the slow moving rush hour morning traffic. When we finally got to the Arizona Memorial we were running behind. Then when it was our turn to finally enter the movie room, the electricity went out in the entire Visitor Center. We had to skip the movie and head right

As "first timers" to Oahu, the tour was perfect for us. Our driver/guide "Gar...Garfield" did an excellent job navigating the traffic of Honolulu and providing informative insights to many of the locations we saw on the tour. He had a unique perspective of the island, city and memorials from his background growing up as a native of this beautiful state.
The planning and execution of the tour allowed flexibility and diversity for the tour group.
Thank you for a great day on Oahu.

I have booked the “Polynesian Cultural Center – Full Day Ambassador Package” with Hawaii Activities many times. I have always found their voucher instructions to be concise and accurate. I particularly appreciate the fact that Hawaii Activities will leave a e-mail or hotel voicemail message for you reminding you of your upcoming activity and any necessary updated information.
The Polynesian Cultural Center is a MUST SEE when visiting the Islands! It is an amazing full day of learning the culture of the people who established the Islands. Each Village that you will visit will provide you with a description of their creation and demonstrate their unique culture through dance, song, and demonstrations. The interesting thing about this day is that nearly every individual who is working at the Center is a full-time student at BYU of Hawaii which is located next door. The staff was very nice and the boat ride was relaxing but the Fern Grotto itself was less than I expected, and I wasn't expecting much.
You don't go inside the cave. You just look at it from a distance.
You can see ferns growing from the face of a rock cliff where the cave is located. You view it from a platform where weddings are performed these days. You can't go inside to see the area where 100 people can gather.

It was awesome to see sunset on the beautiful beach and interesting shows at the same time.

A good show, we were sitting back by the food line and the sound was unclear. Several of us at the table were having difficulty hearing the varoius people on the stage talking, causing some of the dancing questionable such as the cowboy. The dance was very good but we didn't understand how it fit in until I did research.
A very good effort by all your people.
Some hard feelings by those standing for quite a while and then the prefered guest march in and are given the best seats. You need to find a better way to do that.

There were a lot of lines all night. From the moment we met the bus until the moment we got off. We had to wait to get in but fortunately a beverage was provided in that one. We had children who wanted to do many of the activities and they made sure you didn't miss them with a load conch call. This brought a huge crowd to see each event. My kids would not let us miss one. The bummer was the cove and location was beautiful and we didn't get a moment to take it all in as a family because one of us was in line the entire time. You should know that dinner is not served until after 7pm so make sure you have a late lunch. I wish I would of known that. Show was great but the many costume changes meant many slow intermission like moments all night. Not my favorite night.

Was extremely excited when I received word that they had got their greeting and that it made their arrival so special. Not only did they get amazing help and support at the airport, but they got to keep the personalized sign!! We are so thrilled that we are booking another greeting for another couple that are going over!!!
