This was a phenomenal experience. The guides were great and the environment was beautiful. I want to give a shout out to Captain Robin who helped me overcome my extreme fear of snorkeling. I really wanted to be able to snorkel but I’m scared of deep water. He worked with me and another woman who couldn’t swim and we were both able to enjoy ourselves and see so many fish and turtles. He was incredibly patient and kind and I’m so grateful!

I have waited my whole life to go to Hawaii. It was well worth the wait and a huge part of that is because of Manu Kai Waikiki Snorkel with Turtles Cruise. It was amazing!
The crew was professional, fun, and awesome. They made us all feel safe.
Next time I do this cruise I will bring my own snorkeling equipment. My only complaint is that I wish it was longer. The best part of this was being able to do this with my beautiful family. We all had such a great time and we look forward to our next visit to Hawaii to do it again.

I strongly recommend Manu Kai Waikiki Snorkel with the Turtles with Beers and Cocktails. You will be happy you did it. Oh yeah, the Turtles were magical it made me even more in love with Hawaii. I haven't been able to stop talking about it.

Excellent snorkeling trip

This was a very organized snorkeling trip. Only 5 captains are allowed to go to the sandbar. Stunning scenery in the sandbar. Our kids played volleyball and we drank beer! We got back on the boat and ate a delicious lunch of hamburgers. Then headed out to snorkel. On the way we saw several sea turtles. The snorkeling was along a coral reef and we saw many cool fish and another turtle. One of the workers took my 12 year old out and helped her snorkel. She was sacred to go out. That was very impressive! I would definitely recommend this company! Everyone had a great time!!

What a fun way to spend half a day. The musicians on the ride out to the sandbar were very entertaining. Once we got to the sandbar we especially enjoyed snorkeling and hanging out on the floating dock. Feel free to take a cooler (with booze if you so choose)! Grabbed a breakfast sandwich from a little shop right next to the boat and it was delish.

The sea is beautiful! They recommended great meal options and spots, and I was very satisfied! I chose cycling and pizza, and it was the best! Snorkeling and bodyboarding were of course fun too!

This cruise is awesome. Glenn the captain and his staff are phenomenal. Very attentive to your needs. Very caring and made you feel at ease. The sea was rough but he handled the cruise real well and took us to the most phenomenal view of the sunset and the coast. Ahren, Heather and Kevin were great.

Check the tide before booking the trip. You can only walk around in shallow water that Sandbar is known for on a low tide hour. If you want to snorkel or ride kayak then this trip will make you happy.

Our family truly enjoyed this snorkeling trip! We've been on several and this was the best yet! The crew was super nice and took very good care of everyone on board. They fed us breakfast, a snack and lunch and it was all very good. The snorkeling at Molokini was wonderful and at the end of the trip they raised the sails and we sailed for a while. Such a pleasant experience - we'll do this one again if we come back to Maui!

Super fun vibe

Very fun vibe. Crew was fun and helpful. The live music was spectacular. We loved snorkeling! It was nice that you could do activities whenever you wanted and for how long you wanted. We did the afternoon and got our lunch as we boarded and it was good. Tide was higher, so we couldn't play volleyball but we got to go tubing and it was perfect for snorkeling. If you want a lower water level/less waves at the sand bar, I would say do the morning but we liked sleeping in and it was perfect for us as a couple. Families seemed to really enjoy it as well. I was really looking forward to this excursion and it met my high expectations for sure! Book it!

Perhaps due to the impact of the hurricane, the place we arrived at by bus was cloudy. However, when we reached the sandbar, the sun came out and it was fantastic. Morning is definitely the best time.

On the boat, there were free drinks and snacks, so even if I got tired during snorkeling, I could come up and take a break.

Even for someone like me who isn't good at swimming, it was fine.

This was my second time, but I still can't help but worry about the rising water levels...

Smooth Sailing!

Overall, the day went smoothly! The staff gave us lots of advice on where to kayak out to: whether we wanted to go to the sandbar or out snorkelling to see some sea animals. It took us an hour to get out to the sandbar and about 45 minutes to get back to the rental area. Everyone was super helpful and accommodating. Don't forget to reapply sunscreen after heading into the water and kayaking back!
