This was a great experience. The crew of the boat was very attentive. The equipment was in excellent shape. Very nice breakfast and lunch. Unfortunately, we did not see any turtles, but this, of course, is not the fault of the tour operators. If you are looking to go to Molokini, I recommend this tour.

I loved this experience. We got there early to find parking and decided to eat breakfast. My spouse took in the scenery, everything was so peaceful. The boat ride was about 7 minutes and the area was beautiful. We got to do most of the activities, ate donuts and drank juice. Would love to return and do it again.

Sea Quest Kealakekua Bay Snorkel Tour & Rafting Sea Cave Expedition
Turtles and Dolphins!

We got to see a turtle and a pod of like 15 dolphins we learned were currently in a half conscious state and they can basically auto-swim!
Boat was a little crowded with the kids on board. Would prefer an option with adults only as they were a little much for our honeymoon.
Overall great time! The cooled lava caves were very cool and go up all inside the big island!

The crew on the boat was nice and really helpful. They made the experience memorable for me who has never been snorkeling. I recommend taking some motion sickness medicine before going on the boat if you are not used to it

BEST Catamaran snorkeling sail!

We did the No Wiki Kona LUXURY SAIL, dolphin watching, snorkeling. This was the best Catamaran snorkeling sail we've ever been on! (and we've done quite a few)
The captain and crew were knowledgeable, friendly and very attentive. They found us a fantastic snorkeling spot in a reef corner with LOTS of different fish and turtles and no other boats there at the same time. The breakfast and lunch was really great as well. I loved that they put cushioned chairs on the mesh canvas area up font so that you could sit so comfortably in the best spot on the boat! I would definitely do this again and highly recommend it

This was the best excursion for my family. My kids got to snorkel, kayak, and play vball. Everyone had soooo much fun! The staff is amazing and the musician played the best oldies. I knew almost all the songs!!! It ended up being karaoke night.

The maps are not helpful. Once out of the cove, it was hard to find the landmarks to orient ourselves. Did not see any fish or turtles while snorkeling. The wind was so strong and guides did not give advice on how to navigate in high winds- were paddling hard on right side trying to go left but kayak continued to go right. Upon finally making it back to the cove the guides did not get up from their seats, didn’t assist us getting out of kayaks and just told us to put the paddles and life jackets back ourselves.
Would not recommend.
Aloha. I am sorry to hear that you had a disappointing experience kayaking and snorkeling with us. And sorry that you did not find our map or our staff's instructions helpful. Was there any information missing from our map or anything that we could have added to the map to make it more helpful? Any feedback would be appreciated as we would love to improve if possible. Unfortunately we can never guarantee wildlife sightings. The animals are always there, you just have to be in the right place at the right time. I'm sorry that they weren't there for you that day. And although we are in the flattest bay on the island, we are still exposed to the wind and conditions, and there is almost always wind involved in ocean kayaking. But very sorry again that overall your experience was disappointing.

Good, Fun Event with a couple minor negative details

Let's start with the good. Crew was fabulous. Boat was great. Live music was excellent. Variety of activities was excellent--especially the banana boat and disc events--which I highly recommend you add to your experience. Paddle boarding and kayaks were also a nice option for the family. Food/drinks was good too.
The not so good--the snorkeling was just average because we were not allowed to have much freedom to explore. They should allow a time allotment for the extra perks so more can enjoy the extra activities. The main negative was the music they played traveling back to shore--although fun for young adults and old--not too great for my 7 y/o as there was not the consideration of having music with bad language being played for her to hear and ask questions.
Still a good experience overall and would do again IF the music was at least filtered a bit.

Hilo Black Sand Beach Guided Snorkel Tour at Sea Turtle Lagoon

Our guide Devin was very accommodating and knowledgeable! He was thorough when discussing safety in the reef and how best to use the equipment. He seemed to enjoy the experience as much as we did even though we know he does this every day! We were thrilled to be able to commune with sea turtles as they relaxed in the sunshine. He then navigated us through the coral reef and pointed out a bunch of wildlife we might have never have seen on our own. The snacks and drinks at the end of the tour were exactly what we needed after swimming for an hour and a half. We appreciated the personalized experience and would absolutely do this again!

Very friendly crew and overall a good experience. Just a bit too crowded in the boat especially while we are still in a pandemic.
The boat was clean overall and great music played on our way there and way back. Lunch was fresh and nice. Overall a good experience with the ability to choose what you wanna do. Kayaking was fun and other options to paddle board or snorkel. No sea life since the coral reefs are dead unfortunately.

My family and I had the best experience. From the moment we stepped onto the boat, the crew was very attentive, friendly, and funny. They provided a great overview of the day activities and what we needed. They checked on us frequently and even provided a little history lesson on the nearby islands. We took about 1 hr boat ride over to Lanai. Once at Lanai, it was a 7 minute walk to the beach. The beach was amazing!!! We did some snorkeling, a short nature walk, and had some time to chill at the beach. The BBQ LUNCH was delicious! The boat ride back we enjoyed 2 cocktails and ice cream. The crew exceeded our expectations. I would definitely do this again! I felt like VIP. Book it! You won’t regret it
