First of all, the pickup did not arrive on time. I was anxious after waiting for nearly 30 minutes, thinking I might be at the wrong location.

Perhaps due to the bad weather, the sea did not look beautiful. It was very cold even though it was July.

Above all, I was disappointed that the sandbar was different from the promotional photos.

Nice to do, could be better

Overall the tour was nice but there were a few things I wish I had known beforehand.

1 - I went in July & the sandbar water height was about at my bottom (I'm 5' tall). It wasn't good for any toddlers because they wouldn't be able to stand on the sand, so we had to carry our 2 1/2 year old the whole time. Current is a little strong for the toddler too. I was hoping it would be the time of year where the water was below knee deep so the toddler can enjoy.

2 - the only activity on the sandbar was volleyball, which I don't play. Other tours had other activities listed on their tour which I wish this tour had, especially for the price! It was a more expensive tour than others & had less activities than other tours I was researching. Other tours had live music. For the price, it should have more perks, The only good thing was that this was available last minute & they got us in which I appreciated.

3 - The food was good & the hot chocolate at the end of the snorkeling portion was great! However, like some reviews said, you could at least give us fresh pineapple vs canned. That was horrendous for this being Hawaii. Burger, beans & bag of chips was perfect!

Most Fun in Hawaii

We spent 8 days on the big island and participated in a number of guided activities (submarine, luau, snorkling, parasail, zip lines) This was by far the most enjoyable. The staff was excellent. There was a great deal of interaction with the dolphins. (We weren't just watching the staff have them perform behaviors) It was educational. It was amazing. It was fun.

Super easy and fun. Short boat trip with essentials provided to jump in, snorkel, and see some turtles. Crew was friendly and accommodating. Bring your own snacks, towel and fins too (only snorkel, mask, and floaty provided). Snorkel spot was a bit crowded with other tours but seeing honus did not disappoint. We say 7-8 turtles at one point, Amazing!

Wonderful experience! The staff was extremely curtious and so very pleasant. The musicians I could have listened to all day! We added on the tube and banana boat ride. Sooo much fun! Would do it again 100%!

Everything provided was great. The boat itself was clean and comfortable. All the excursions provided off the boat were awesome! The crew were so nice and a ton of fun! I was able to see a sea turtle and film it with my go pro while on the banana boat ride. The drive notices the sea turtle and slowed down for us! It was PERFECT! The views were spectacular!

Absolutely enjoyed the excursion. I was able to book for a family of 7 only days in advance. Glad that worked out for us! The crew was professional, fun, and caring. I was a first time snorkeler and non swimmer. One of the crew members was kind to tote me around the reef to help ease my anxiety. I saw a majestic turtle and fish! The bbq burger lunch was superb! Overall beautiful experience! Transportation include to the catamaran, really convenient. Beautiful experience to be emerge in the beautiful sand beach in the middle of the ocean! Paddle and snorkeling where we were lucky to see 2 turtles one really big and a baby one.

The sandbar is absolutely beautiful. The staff is amazing, super helpful and friendly. The water was freezing and unfortunately it was also very cloudy when we went out so getting in the water was very uncomfortable for me. But if you don’t mind cold water you will love this tour!!!! You have gorgeous views and fun activities to do on the sandbar (snorkel, volleyball, kayak). Definitely recommend if you can handle cold water!!!

This tour was amazing especially if you have young kids. The captain was amazing and we got to see a ton of amazing things. Dolphins, monk seals, sea caves, na Pali coast, mermaids...ok maybe not the last one. The crew was great and had a ton of great knowledge along with tips on great places to check out on island. Overall I would absolutely tour with them if we come back to the island.

This was definitely a highlight of our Hawaii vacation. Our whole family enjoyed this. It’s not easy finding activities that teenagers will enjoy and all 3 of mine loved it! We would definitely do this again! I would recommend having a camera or GoPro that works underwater! Super friendly and knowledgeable staff! Looking forward to our next trip!!

Great Boat & Crew….BUT.

Had a great time. BEST BOAT AND CREW I’VE HAD! Crew was fun, instructional and well-prepared. Handled us in an AWESOME manner with Aloha. The “big let down” was the sheer number of the other boats trying to come into the same small area. There were 7 other boats very close to us. I kept being bumped into by swimmers from other boats. It’s freaking ridiculous! And I know there’s nothing you guys can do to control that so I can’t hold it against you. But it would be nice if the tourism board or the county did some thing to limit it. Especially when your boat has been doing this much longer than the others.

A MUST DO excursion while in Oahu

This is my 2nd time doing this excursion. First was AM trip and just recently was the PM cruise. Both times were amazing! The LIVE music is the BEST!! This cruise gives you enough time to do whatever your heart desires whether that’s chillin drinking your BYOB, snorkeling, volleyball, kayak, paddle board, and my favorite tubing! The kids also loved the experience! Plus the sandbar itself is remarkable!

The family and I (including 9 and 6 yo) accompanied Captain Bruce Tour Company to snorkel at Kaneohe Bay. This was money well spent, especially considering the length of time provided for snorkeling and paddleboard equipment. The masks seemed clean and properly sanitized, the boat captain provided clear instruction and had sufficient staff on board and in the water to assist participants. Staff also knew where to find sea life, including turtles. Overall, excellent trip and value. A word of caution -- be alert for jelly fish.
