Reviewed by: J.L., 2023/02/07Very little elevation gain on the trail, so it’s a very nice walk for most.
The amount of water coming down the falls depends on how much it has been raining. For us there was only a trickle.
They can’t take you to the official Tantalus Lookout inside the state park any more due to current restrictions, but you’ll still be treated to a pretty nice viewpoint overlooking the city after your picnic lunch.

Unforgetable hike

Hiro was an amazing guide with a lot of knowledge about the plants and history of the island! The lunch was great, the way from the lookout was amazing where you could see the Diamond Head, Waikiki, Pearl Harbour and the airport! Thank you Hiro for an amazing tour!
