A must do for new visitors!
Reviewed by: Jake H, 2021/05/21We did this tour as a couple who just wanted to see the island and this tour went above and beyond our expectations. Our guide, Kalani, was an experienced, funny, and overall great driver who took us to all the best spots in Oahu. This was our favorite thing we have done on our trip, I could not imagine coming to this island and NOT doing this tour. Starting the day with delicious malasadas, Kalani provides us with excellent service and knowledge about the history of the island. You HAVE to do this tour if you are coming to Oahu.

Amazing Tour

This was her first time in Hawaii but I have been many times so I can confidently say that this is one of the best island tours that I have been on. We got to eat malasadas at our first location at Haunama Bay. From there we went to Halona Blowhole and saw the amazing views from Nu’uanu Pali before the clouds came in. Then we went to Byodo Temple located in Valley of the Temples Memorial Park and rang the bell for good luck before heading towards the North Shore for lunch. We saw Chinaman’s Hat along the way. The Dole Plantation is a place I must visit every time I go to Hawaii just for the Dole Whip! We also got to visit King Kamehameha’s statue in Downtown Honolulu. But it was our tour guide/driver that made this trip around Oahu better than some of the tours I’ve experienced. Kalani was incredibly knowledgeable about the sites we visited and many other sites. His lived experiences made us feel the appreciation and connection he has for the island. He also made sure we were comfortable throughout the entire day. Our tour was on mother’s day so we are grateful for the time he could’ve spent with his mother, showing us around the island.

Great Tour!

Amazing way to see Oahu and learn more about its history and culture

Beyond the sights we saw she was able to give us a glimpse into the real Oahu. She had great tips for our lunch stop and made sure we got the most out of our tour. This tour would be great for families, couples single travelers really announce that wants to see the island in comfort. The tour pickup spot was close to our hotel so that made it easy for us.

Must Do!
Reviewed by: Marleen, 2021/04/02Initially we planned to rent a car and explore the island from Waikiki, driving to different areas multiple days. But, corona (and Hawaii reopening) caused a shortage on rental cars apparently and so we were not able to rent a car after all. Then we found this tour and we couldn’t be any happier with it! It not only allowed us to see the island of Oahu, we also got all the extra information that we wouldn’t have gotten without Lola, our driver and tour guide. We stopped at the blowhole, the Pali of Nu’uana viewpoint, a macadamia plantation, the valley of temples, Haleiwa, dole plantation, and passed the north shore beaches and many other beautiful sights, also Honolulu. After the team we even regret more than we couldn’t go again and spend some time at the places suggested by Lola. Therefore, my recommendation is to do this tour first (at the beginning of your vacation) and then try to go to the places you liked the most. And Lola was just hands down the best tour guide. She brought water and Poi Donuts —> delicious!! And she was so energetic in telling us all the stories about the island and what she used to do or used to go as a kid. This whole experience felt more like connecting to Oahu than anything else we did during our time there. Highly recommended!

The best tour!
Reviewed by: Kasey T , 2021/03/18Wow! I am so impressed by this tour. When my family originally planned this, I thought it would be boring. However, I was blown away. Our tour guide, Lola, was SO amazing. She was so knowledgeable and personable. I am shocked at how much I learned from her. She made the day go by so fast- I wasn’t even ready to leave. She even brought us Poi donuts. It was so cool to eat from the local restaurants- I never would have ventured to do this on my own.
This is a must! Don’t even hesitate. It’s worth every penny.

Reviewed by: neeti, 2019/11/24this was my first visit to oahu and the i had booked an introductory tour. it was a perfect start. our tour guide was really lovely with a good sense of humour . he was also knowledgeable about the local history and little areas of interest being a local interest.
there were lots of visits to some beautiful beaches and enough time at the waimea botanical gardens to go for a wander. the lunch was delicious. topped at the end a visit to the dole plantation.
i wish we had more time at the plantation to actually go out on the train to be amongst the growing pineapples which would have added to the experience

Good way to see the North Shore of Oahu and get out of Waikiki!

Our driver/tour guide/waiter Steve was excellent; filling us in with fun facts about Waikiki and the places we passed along the way, recommendations for activities and places to eat and restroom breaks along the way! Highlights were the chilli garlic shrimp lunch and the green sea turtle we saw sun-baking on the beach and the ones bobbing up and down in the sea! We would highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to see the North Shore and get out of Waikiki.

Awesome Falls
Reviewed by: Kelly, 2019/03/30When we first got on our tour and the guide introduced himself I didn't hold out much hope of learning anything from someone who said they had only lived in Hawaii for 3 years but Steve turned out to be a fountain of knowledge. He made the day an extremely enjoyable one, so much information given and funny too. he should also release his soundtrack to the Circle Tour, he had a song for every stop it was awesome! My only criticism would be too many beach photo stops not enough time at Waimea Waterfall and Dole Plantation.

Greg, our driver and guide is very personable and knowledgeable. He really aims to please. I would say that we were a little too packed on the bus, it would have been preferable to have been on a smaller tour. Overall, you certainly get your monies worth!

Reviewed by: Jill, 2018/03/11We had such a good time. There was 7 of us in our group. Some of us had been to Oahu before and some had not. We wanted to take a smaller, more personal tour. So we could all be TOGETHER and learn some of the history of the islands while seeing all the sights.
Our driver was insightful, and fun. He answered all of our inquiries with so much knowledge.
Everyone of us enjoyed the whole tour. It was nice to be able to talk, visit, take pictures and not have to worry about driving and finding the way ourselves.
We didn't feel rushed... got to see everything at each stop.

Outstanding Tour

There just happened to be several hula dancers and a musician that sang for a couple that got engaged. The shrimp was ono! The ube popsicle, too! Waimea Falls was also a treat. There was even a Farmers Market with local fruit and food. Gotta try the ice cream bananas. So good!
