CloseBoth trails offered stunning scenery—the panoramic views from Diamond Head and the rainforest vibes at Manoa Falls were unforgettable.
The hike itself is a quick 1.6 miles round trip and felt nice and quick!
Moderate climbs with the spectacular views from the summit, sweeping vistas of Waikiki and the Pacific.
From Waikiki, Diamond Head is 5 min by car: take Kalakaua Avenue east, turn left onto Monsarrat Avenue, then right onto Diamond Head Road. Enter through the tunnel into the crater (paid parking inside). Walking from Waikiki adds 1 mile each way along Kapahulu/Diamond Head Road. Last entry is 4 p.m.; the trail closes at 6 p.m. Reservations required at gostateparks.hawaii.gov.View map
