It's a Plane! It's a Bird! No!!! It's Iron Man with Hawaiian Parasail!!!
Reviewed by: ----------RHO----, 2015/02/10Since I have been let go by Spider Man because he moved on in life recently, I have now been contracted by Iron Man to be his editor and newspaper publisher. Iron Man had told me that while he is in Oahu, he wants to do something fun and exciting. So I did my research and found hawaiiactivities.com - Veltra. They had great reviews of Hawaiian Parasail and they are the highest ranked for customer reviews! Veltra has a 9:00am early bird special that is reasonably priced, so that is what we booked for. As we checked into Hawaiian Parasail, the reservation agents Loke and Keri were very welcoming with an ample amount of Aloha. They got us checked in and ready to board as we met Captain Jayme and crew member Jason. As we were sailing out to sea, there was quite a bit of nervousness from everyone on the boat. It was everyone's first time, and there was 1 woman who went by herself and she could not swim. So Iron Man voluntarily flew tandem with her, and I stayed on boat as an observer so Iron Man could save her lonesome day. As Iron Man started to get ready to go up, Jason and I were getting all the photos in as we could. Since I am only an editor, my pictures were not of great quality compared to Jason's. It was a smooth ride the whole time for them until they were returning back to the boat. The female started trembling with fear as they started to get dipped in the ocean. Her body twisted as she almost did a 360, until Iron Man caught the line to prevent her from doing so. As we got back to the hut, Keri and Loke displayed their images of Iron Man's event. He saved the day again and he had an amazing time. All in thanks to Hawaiian Parasail & Veltra!

Awesome time
Reviewed by: Sandra, 2015/01/17My husband and I had so much fun. We went up 800ft. It was so cool to see Waikiki beach from the air. There were 5 couples on the boat. Everyone had fun. The crew was nice and professional. We drove ourselves to the marina and their office was easy to find. Check in was simple. While on the boat you have the option of having them take professional photos of you while you are parasailing. It cost $30 extra for this service which I think was well worth it. My husband had never parasailed before and he loved it. I think next time I will try the 1000ft option which one couple did on our trip. Being on the speed boat was fun too, but the water is very choppy so make sure you are prepared if you are prone to motion sickness.

Great experience!
Reviewed by: Joy, 2015/01/09Our experience with Hawaiian Parasail is great and we're so happy we chose them. We did the 800 feet, parasailing was exciting and the view was beyond description.
They were nice an patient with us all the time. Our original reservation was at 4:00pm the first day we got on the island, but our flight was delayed so we called them to see if we can reschedule. They were understandable and helped us with rescheduling, so patient and professional! The activity was rescheduled again due to weather, but we made it on a beautiful morning:)
Staff were nice and professional all the time, we felt safe and welcomed. We also did some whale watching while in the sea, it's the season and you can't miss it!
Quick tip: if you're driving there, check in with them first since there're some free parking spots nearby:)

newlywed excitement

We had gotten mixed opinions about parasailing initially where a friend stated it was "boring and you just hang there" and we almost didn't do it, but glad we did! It was really fun! the staff was accommodating and friendly and gave precise instructions and made it fun and maintained safety along with it. Highly recommend! The fact our boat was named the Class bum made it even better!

Definitely worth it!
Reviewed by: Francesca M, 2014/12/06We had a blast! Took the 8 minute ride and throughly enjoyed ourselves. The views were awesome, the crew was fun, and overall would highly recommend it. We did purchase the pictures, taken by the crew, for $10 after, typically I don't purchase things like this post activity, however the price was fair and the pictures were very good. I also liked the fact that the entire experience didn't consume our entire day or afternoon. We took advantage of their transportation, hotel pickup, which was also entertaining. Greg was an excellent driver, courteous, and very friendly. Overall was an excellent experience and well worth the money/time. Thanks!

First time
Reviewed by: uibabyy, 2014/12/03This was a great experience. It was our first time and my boyfriends first time being in Hawaii. He definitely enjoyed himself. Our service was great since the beginning when trying to get a date to parasail. It was a last minute thing and they squeezed us in perfectly. As soon as we get there they're all welcoming as I hurry to get paperwork done. Then we took off and our instruction guys were awesome very energetic and made us comfortable. We were nervous at first as our adrenaline rose watching the first couple, but then I just couldn't wait to get up there. We're up and again I become nervous we take off and get up there boom we're up high a little scary but a great feeling. We both enjoyed the scenery and just each other even more. Great experience a MUST do especially in beautiful hawaii.

Parasailing
Reviewed by: Susie, 2014/12/01This was my first time parasailing, and I didn't know what to expect. It was a windy day, so I was worried that I would swing in large arcs. Since I was by myself, the crew told me that I had to go with the other girls on the boat, which I was more than okay with. Once I was in the air, it was peaceful and the view was amazing. Although it was windy, we didn't swing too much. However, since it was windy, the crew did not dip us in the water. I guess I'll have to go again on a calmer day for that experience. All in all, it was an amazing experience that I will always remember.

What a Ride!

For anyone concerned about any jerking movements during take-off or landing, put your fears to rest. The ride was completely smooth and the view is breathtaking! a view with a little adventure
Reviewed by: Joe, 2014/07/15we opted for convenient pickup from our hotel which arrived on time however if you choose to drive - the parking lot seemed empty at the marina. The crew was super friendly and it was a short ride out to open water. Plenty of photo opportunities for Waikiki Beach, surfers and Diamond Head as you had in and out. It wasn't long until the parachute was out and we're up in the air. We did 800 foot line. It's exhilarating yet peaceful up there with great views of the entire island. We were only up there for a few minutes. The crew does take 15-30 pictures while you're up there and will sell it to you for $30 on 4GB SD, which I recommend against it if you already have a GoPro or waterproof camera. Overall I'll say it was a great experience and I do recommend it during your stay.
We'll definitely do this again but with the 1000/1200 foot line.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE
Reviewed by: Adi, 2013/09/10This was the best para-sailing experience we have, we already para-sailed before in Cabo but it was not as good as the Hawaiian Para-sail. I would recommend this to anyone para sailing for the first time or experienced people. The tour guides were amazing as well.

So Much Fun

We went almost 1200 ft up and it was so quiet and peaceful. The guys that took us out were great and it was nice to enjoy the boat ride while others were up in the air. Something I will absolutely repeat. Oh and they offer to take pictures of u while u r up there. we got about 75 pics they give us on a little sd card for $35 way worth it.

When we got to the dock to where we were going to depart the crew and check in were very cool and assured me that I was going to have a good time. They were right! I had a blast. I was not that nervous going up and being up there for what amounted to be the perfect amount of time(do 600ft or more....it is worth it). Get the photo package....the guys on the boat will take a whole bunch of pictures of you for $30 and give you the SD card when done. It is something that is a must do when in Oahu. Just awesome!

Reviewed by: Connie Colton, 2012/07/29The experience was amazing. The only complaint I have was that we were staying at the Mariot Waikiki and the van driver went to the Waikiki resort to pick us up. We could not find the driver or him us. When I talked with staff trying to locate himshe was rude and said if we did not find the driver in 2 mins he would leave us and there would be no refund.
We ended up finding him in about 10 mins. with the help of valet parkers from out hotel. He did not leave us Thank goodness. The van driver knew we were lost and waited. He was very nice. The staff on the boat were amazing. My 73 year old mother even parasailed and they acommadated her needs. : ) We were there on a make a wish trip, they allowed my 12 year old son who fought cancer last year to go up twice and to drive the boat. They were just amazing!

This was my wife's first time parasailing, she screamed, but she loved it!. We had a terriffic time! The crew was great and even let my wife drive the boat around the Waikiki Coastline.

Parasailing!

My husband and I booked this activity before we arrived in Oahu, and I was actually a little nervous about it as it got closer. But, I have to say--this was a ton of fun. The other couples in our group were quite a bit younger than us--we are in our late forties--but I think this activity would be OK for almost any age and level of mobility. The crew was professional and skilled on the water, and everything felt safe and secure. And the ride was fantastic! The crew took pictures of the whole event and the memory card was available for purchase at the end of the ride for $30. These are some of my favorite vacation pictures, and proof to our kids that we did it! The flight itself was gentle. You gained height steadily and the views were terrific. The crew brought you back down, gave you a quick dunk in the ocean and landed you back on the boat. Go ahead and do this!

Reviewed by: Tina E., 2011/09/19As a first time parasailer, I thought it was AMAZING! I would totally go again and recommend that others go too. Hawaii Parasailing is awesome! The boat crew (Captain Jason and, darn it, I don't remember his name) and the shuttle driver were superb!!! They made everyone on the outing feel special and happy. As "bigger" girls, we were thrilled to get to ride together. I have to say that the office staff has something to be desired though. The girls were rude and condesending. I did not like dealing with them. But since we didn't have to deal with them too much it did not take away from the overall experience.

Getting "High" in Hawaii!

FAMILY Goddess

I was squished in the middle and I also felt a bit sea sick. It wasn't as enjoyable as I thought because of the wind, but it was fun! The crew was wonderful!
