Nice hospitable crew both on ground and in air.

Our helicopter pilot Michael was so nice that he turned around to get a nice snap which we could be in the first flyby. We took our tour during March ( US mainland spring time ).

Great and memorable 1st experience of chopper ride. Since it rained that day we saw so many waterfalls.

Our tour was to fly to the other side of the island and then ride a tour mini van through the mountains/rainforests back to the helipad. Nice Tour guide Scott as he knew the whole island bit by bit of it which gave us many memorable nature spots along the ride. He was very helpful in clicking pics and explaining us about island, people and vegetation

On the day of the event, the weather was cloudy, and I was worried about whether I would be able to see the stars. As I got closer to the summit, I entered a sea of clouds and thought it would be impossible. Suddenly, I broke through the clouds into a blue sky, and I was delighted to see the sky I had hoped for. However, the parking lot at the top was full, so I had no choice but to go down to around 2,000 meters to see the stars. When I arrived at the lower parking lot, I could see the stars, but after a while, clouds occasionally covered them, so unfortunately, it wasn't a sky full of stars. However, the guide, Yamapi, was very enthusiastic, and I am very grateful for his clear explanations.

サンセットセーリング ＜軽食・飲み放題付き／カアナパリビーチ発＞

We came to Maui for our 30th wedding anniversary trip. This was our third tour with Trilogy, but it was our first time on the sunset cruise. On the day of the reservation, we were informed that the pickup location changed from Ka'anapali Resort to Lahaina Harbor due to high waves, as boarding from the beach was deemed dangerous.

We departed a little later than scheduled, but we managed to secure good seats at the front, and drinks and snacks were served throughout the cruise. Unfortunately, there were many clouds, so we didn't get to see a beautiful sunset, but the strong winds allowed for some enjoyable cruising with the jib sail.

We were the only Japanese guests, and the cheerful and friendly atmosphere created by the Americans was a lot of fun. It became a wonderful memory.

トリロジーのツアーは3回目ですが、サンセットクルーズは、初めてでした。
予約の当日にピックアップのカアナパリリゾートからラハイナ港に変更になったと連絡が入りました。波が高いので、砂浜から乗船が危険とのこと。
予定より少し遅れて出港、前のいい席を確保できて、飲み物と軽食は、すべてサーブしてくれます。残念ながら雲が多くきれいなサンセットではありませんでしたが、風が強いので、ジブセイルでのクルージングも出来ました。
日本人は、私たちだけで、アメリカ人の陽気でフレンドリーな雰囲気がとても楽しかった。いい思い出になりました。

Unlike horseback riding experiences in Japan, after a brief explanation, we headed to the ride course. At first, going downhill was a bit scary. The horse often slipped its feet, but I didn't fall. Once I got used to it, I thought it was manageable.

The weather wasn't very good, but the location was fantastic. In the second half, we went uphill, and there was a part where we dashed, which was thrilling. I am satisfied.

We climbed the stairs between the sandy beach and the double-headed boat when the waves were calm, following the crew's signal. Depending on the timing, we got wet up to our thighs, and some people were excitedly shouting "Yay!" When we got on the boat, we sat on the deck and didn't go inside; the crew brought us drinks, egg sandwiches, and fruit. It seemed that this service was to prevent us from missing any whales while eating and drinking on board.

As we headed towards a whale that was slapping its fins in the distance, we unexpectedly got quite close to a breaching whale, but we only saw the last splash. After that, while praying for another breach and aiming my camera, it breached again. In total, we witnessed 10 breaches, numerous fin slaps, and 14 tail slaps, which was amazing; I don't think I'll ever see that many breaches again in my lifetime.

　撮ってくれた写真の注文の仕方がわからなかったのが残念でした。前もってEmailの登録が必要らしかった？

モロキニ島シュノーケリングクルーズ ＜朝・昼食付／現地集合＞

When we arrived at the pier, we signed in at a designated area (there were some materials in Japanese, see photo 1) and enjoyed a cup of coffee. Before boarding the Pride of Maui, we took a commemorative photo (you don't have to buy it for $20). After boarding, breakfast included strawberries, pineapple, bread, cake, and drinks (see photos 2 and 3). The strawberries were huge like Amaou, and the pineapple was sweet. On a tour I took a few years ago, there were only snorkel sets and fins, and I was quite scared in the deep waters of Molokini, so this time I brought a simple life jacket from Japan. On this tour, there were life jackets (see photo 7), of course, a long pole to use under the armpits (see photo 4), a wetsuit (see photo 5), and a belly wrap (see photo 6), so you could participate with just your body. There were also paid options for snuba (see photo 8) and rental underwater cameras (see photo 9).

Lunch consisted of hamburgers, with ketchup on the bread and vegetables on top, and you could choose from the grilled items at the stern of the boat (cheese on top of hamburgers, teriyaki chicken, and large sausages). They recommended the cheeseburger, but I had the chicken burger, which was quite tasty. Those who could still eat were allowed to line up again after everyone finished, and there were about 15 servings left over. If you don't line up for meals at the beginning, the waiting time can be long, but our Japanese guide, Sato-san, kindly took care of various needs for the Japanese guests. Although there were many foreigners on the tour, there was no need to worry; this tour is the best for Molokini. Before returning to the port, we were given a rice cracker. Sato-san (see photo 10) helped my wife when she was struggling while feeding fish in the water. I also received help from a foreign guy who was monitoring on a surfboard; without him, I would have been in double trouble. Since there are paid options, it's good to bring some money, and the only places to put your belongings are under your seat, which can get wet. I think it's better to bring a waterproof bag just in case. We were able to see turtles floating in the sea, and we got quite close to Molokini. However, you need to be careful as the current flows towards Molokini, which could lead to hitting the island or stepping on coral. I rated it as good because we didn't encounter any whales and there weren't small fish like in Hanauma Bay.

桟橋に着くとcheck inと書いてある場所で署名など（日本語で書いてある物もありました、写真１）して、コーヒーを一杯。船はプラウドオブマウイ号乗船前に記念写真（20$買わなくてよい）、乗船後朝食イチゴ・パイナップル・パン・ケーキ・飲み物（写真２・３）イチゴがアマオウみたいに大きくパイナップルは甘かった。数年前に行ったツアーではシュノーケルセットと足ひれしかなくて、かなり深いモロキニ島で怖かったので今回は日本から簡易のライフベストを持参しました。このツアーでは、ライフベスト（写真７）はもちろん脇の下に挟んで使う長い棒（写真４）、スエットスーツ（写真５）、お腹に巻いて使う（写真６）などがあり体一つで参加できました。有料でスヌーバ（写真８）、レンタル水中カメラ（写真９）もありました。昼食はハンバーガー、パンにケチャップなどをかけ、野菜類をのせ、最後には船尾で焼いている具（ハンバーグの上にチーズ、照り焼きチキン、大きいソーセージ）から選びます。おすすめはチーズバーガーだそうですが、私はチキンバーガーにして食べましたが結構おいしかった。まだ食べれる人は全員が終わった後にもう一度並んで作って食べてもよいそうでした、15人ぶんぐらい余ってました。食事は最初に並ばないと待ち時間ばかり長くてなど、日本人ガイドの佐藤さんが親切にいろいろ日本人の世話をしてくれます。外人さんが多いツアーですが何の心配もいりません、モロキニ島ならこのツアーがベストです。港に戻る前に煎餅一枚でました。日本人ガイドの佐藤さん（写真１０）には妻が海の中で餌ずけをして苦しそうにしていた時にも助けていただきました。他にもサーフボードに乗って監視してくれていた外人のお兄さんにも助けてもらいました、私一人では二重遭難になるとこでした。有料のものもあるのでお金を持っていくのと、荷物を置く場所は座るとこか、座る下しかないので濡れます。濡れても大丈夫なビニール袋などを持参したほうがいいと思います。カメは海に浮かんでいるのが見れました、モロキニ島にかなり近くまで寄ってもらえます、海の流れがモロキニ島へ向かって流れているので注意しないと島にぶつかったりサンゴを踏んでしまいます。クジラに出会えなかったのとハナウマ湾みたいに小さな魚がいなかったので、評価をよかったにしました。

Our driver (Jason?) made for a great trip. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate on the day we took the tour, but Jason’s commentary and fantastic sense of humor were sunshine on the rainy day. If (when) we return to Maui, we will definitely take this tour again in hopes of seeing the sunset from Haleakala.

Departing from the far right dock at Lahaina Harbor. There is no parking at the dock, so I recommend the free public parking located to the north. The boat is comfortable, and we even spotted something that looked like a whale. Once we arrive at Lanai Island, there is a bus that goes to the Four Seasons. The beach is peaceful and highly recommended. I think it's a great idea to take a little trip there during your stay in Maui.

The sunrise from Haleakalā was breathtaking. I highly recommend it.

Even though there are entry restrictions, about 450 people visit every morning, so it gets very crowded. During this tour, I was given various tips on where to wait, allowing me to see the sunrise from the best position.

As noted, you need to prepare for the cold as you wait at the summit, which is 3,000 meters high, about an hour before sunrise, similar to what you would need for a ski resort. If it’s too cold, you can also view it from inside the visitor center. Although it will be through glass, it seems there is heating inside.

ハレアカラから見るサンライズ、感動しました。おすすめです。
入場制限がかかったとはいえ、毎朝４５０人位の人達が訪れるとのことで、非常に混雑します。今回のツアーでは、どこで待っていれば良いか色々教えてもらったので、ベストポジションでサンライズを見ることが出来ました。
注意書きにも書いてありますが、日の出の１時間くらい前から３０００ｍの山頂で待つので、スキー場に行く位の防寒準備が必要です。どうしても寒い場合は、ビジターセンターの中からでも見ることが出来るとの事です。ガラス越しにはなりますが、暖房は入っているようです。

We had a great time whale watching! The crew made all the difference. They were very knowledgeable about whales. From serving food and drinks to taking pictures so we could just enjoy the whales, it was great. So good, since they had openings, we went on the next trip!

Skyline Classic Haleakala National Park Sunrise Guided Tour with Breakfast

What an amazing trip! you will not be disappointed! Diane picked us up at our Condominium and we picked up other passengers and went to have a continental breakfast. While at the home base, they give you extra layers of coats, ear muffs, and gloves to wear. We were prepared and had our heavy winter coats, but took these extra provisions just in case. I was so glad that we did! It was awesome to layer up as it is very cold before sunrise at the top and you do stand out in the cold as the sun begins its ascent.

One of the other guides or park rangers performed a chant as the sun rose which was very special.

Our Guide Diane was really great! So cheerful and personable the entire time. She drove safely up and down the mountain (we were SO glad we chose to do the tour instead of attempting to drive it ourselves). Diane peppered the journey with insightful facts and history. We learned so much about the history of Maui, culture of Hawaii, indigenous and protected species, and so much more! Truly a joy!

After sunrise, we also went up to the Summit, then stopped at several places on the way back down the mountain for sight seeing before heading to Breakfast. The Hot Chocolate was the best I have ever had! Great food!

Could not be more thrilled with this tour! Highly recommended

The day before was cloudy, and I was worried about the rain in the evening, but on the day of the tour, we had clear blue skies. The trade winds that were blowing in the morning died down in the afternoon, and the guide, Yamapi, said it was the best conditions possible, with no moon in sight, allowing us to fully enjoy the sunset and stargazing. There were also repeat customers who had come many times before, and I felt that if you come all the way to Maui, you must participate in this tour. The breathtaking sunset over the ocean and the stunning starry sky were continuous sources of amazement. The hospitality was top-notch, with warm clothing, blankets, chairs, and hot tea provided. On the way to Haleakalā, we stopped at several shops, but instead of a forced souvenir shop tour, we were given recommendations for truly worthwhile items. They mentioned that if the weather is bad, a re-do is possible, so you should prioritize signing up for this tour above all else. If you have a digital camera, make sure to bring it along. 前日が曇りで、夕方には雨まで降ってどうなるか心配だったのですが、ツアー当日は雲なしの青空、午前中に吹いていた貿易風も午後にはやみ、月も出ていないというこれ以上の条件はないとガイドのヤマピーも言うほどの最高のコンディションの中でサンセット及び星空観測を堪能させてもらいました。同じツアーに、もう何度も来ているというリピーターの方々もいて、マウイまで来てこのツアーに参加しないのは一体何しに来ているのかと思うほど満足しました。海に沈む感動のサンセットに加え、落ちてくるかと思うほどの星空に感動の連続。防寒着や毛布、椅子、温かいお茶etc.最高のおもてなしです。ハレアカラに行く途中も何軒かショップに寄ってくれるのですが、押し付けのスーベニアショップ巡りではなく、本当にお勧めの品物を教えていただきました。天気が悪い時はリベンジも可能との事ですので、すべての予定に優先して申し込むべきです。デジカメ持っている人は絶対忘れずに持っていってください。ヤマピー、ありがとうございました。

Great tour at a reasonable considering the ferry was included. We maybe didn't get our full value but only because of the rain. The tour guide was great and tried hard and did well to make up for the weather.

I prefer traditional hula (kahiko), and although there were luau shows at the hotel where I stayed, most of them were Polynesian shows. That's why I deliberately chose this "Traditional Luau & Hula Hawaiian Show - Old Lahaina Luau." As I expected, the show featured a lot of traditional hula (kahiko), and I was satisfied. Those who prefer fire dancing may not be as pleased. The meal was served buffet-style, with dishes generously plated according to the order of each group's seating. The drinks were all-you-can-drink, and the poke was very delicious. I also requested through Veltra to have a "floor seating" arrangement in advance. Cushions were provided, so there was no need for additional mats. Moreover, since we were in the front row, taking photos and videos was perfect without anyone's head getting in the way. I recommend requesting front row seating. There is parking available, but I parked at the Lahaina Cannery Mall parking lot on the opposite side, which was spacious and, of course, free. I highly recommend it!

私は古典フラ（カヒコ）が好みで宿泊ホテル先でもルアウショーはあったのですがルアウショーの多くはポリネシアンショーの為敢えてこの「伝統ルアウ＆フラ ハワイアンショー オールド・ラハイナ・ルアウ」を選びました。思った通りショーの内容は、古典フラ（カヒコ）が多く、満足しました。ファイアダンスが好みの人は満足しないかも知れません。食事も席毎グループの順番でビュフェスタイルでお皿にしっかり盛り付けしました。ドリンクも飲み放題でポキがとっても美味しかったです。席もあらかじめveltraさんに依頼し”床に座る席”にしてもらいました。座布団が用意されていましたので敷物は不要でした。しかも最前席でしたので写真・ビデオ撮影も人の頭も邪魔にならずバッチリでした。最前列を依頼する事をお薦めします。駐車場はありますが反対側のラハイナキャネリー・モールの駐車場が広くこちらに駐車しました。無論無料でした.....是非お勧めします。

At sea level (below 1 meter), the temperature is 28 degrees. The tour bus picked us up right in front of the hotel lobby. Mr. Yamap greeted us with a smile. From there, all participants gathered at the donut shop. We set off towards the summit of Haleakalā. We stopped at a market along the way to buy sushi and were given tips on Maui souvenirs, and then we headed to the summit! To reach a place over 3000 meters, we took our time ascending with breaks along the way (by car). To get above the clouds, we had to pass through them. In the thick clouds where we couldn't see ahead... I wondered if we would even be able to see anything at the summit. I was filled with anxiety as we climbed. However, Mr. Yamap played music and chatted, seemingly unconcerned about the weather at the summit. Perhaps to match the age of the participants? I’m not sure, but he played songs from the '80s... They were right in our strike zone, so we enjoyed the ride. And finally... the summit! There were no clouds, and nothing obstructed our view. As dusk fell, we could beautifully observe the rare shadow of the Earth, and since it was a new moon that day, while we ate our bento in the car, it seemed Mr. Yamap was preparing telescopes and other equipment. After dinner, when we got out of the car... we were instructed not to look up until we were outside. Since the car lights were on while we ate, it seemed that looking up immediately wouldn’t allow us to see the stars clearly. Once we adjusted our eyes, the starry sky was incredibly moving...! Seriously, it was amazing. Everyone should go. I don't want to promote it too much. It's a sight rarely seen. The number of stars you might only see once in a lifetime. It makes you feel how tiny Earth is... When I saw this starry sky, all my past failures and struggles seemed insignificant...

Lastly... it is really cold at the summit. They can lend you down jackets or blankets, but if you're sensitive to the cold, it's better to bring inner layers or disposable hand warmers even when going to Hawaii. They also serve warm tea.

下界（海抜１ｍ未満）では気温28度。ツアーバスがホテルロビー前までお迎え。山Pさんがニコニコお迎えに来てくれました。そこから、ドーナツ屋さん参加者全員集合。ハレアカラ山頂に向かって出発。途中のマーケットでお寿司などを買い込んで（マウイのお土産とかも教えてもらって）、いざ山頂へ！3000mを超える場所へ向かうには、途中の休憩を入れながらゆっくり上っていきます（車で・・）。雲の上に出るためには・・雲の中を通過しなければなりません。前方も見えないような雲の中で・・・もしかしたら山頂に行っても見えないんじゃないのかな？不安感満載で登っていくのです。しかし、山Pさんは音楽を流しながら、いろいろお話を入れて、山頂の天気のことは特に気にもせず、運転していました。参加者の年齢に合わせたのか？わかりませんが80年代の曲が・・・・。われわれのストライクゾーンの曲だったので楽しく向かいました。そしてついに・・・山頂！そこは雲もなく、目の前を遮るものはありません。夕暮れになり・・めったに見れない地球の影もきれいに観察できましたし、当日は新月で、お弁当を車内で食べている間に山Pさんは望遠鏡などの準備をしていたようです。夕食が終わって、車内から出るときに・・・下を向いて上を見ないようにとの指示。車内は車内灯をつけてお弁当を食べていたので、すぐ上を向いても星がきれいに見えないらしいです。あとは目を慣れさせて見るとすごく感動的な星空が・・・！まじ、やばいです。皆さん行ってください。あまり紹介したくないですね。めったに見れない。一生に見れるかどうかの星の数。地球なんてなんてちっぽけな・・・・・と感じます。
今までの失敗や苦労などはこの星空を見たら・・・。以上

最後に・・・山頂はマジで寒いです。ダウンとか毛布とか貸していただけますが、寒がりの人はハワイに行くのに、インナーとか使い捨てカイロとかあったほうがいいです。暖かいお茶も出してくれます。

Wake up early, super early, for the most amazing sunrise you’ll see, if you are an adventurer. It’s cold up there, super cold so prepare for that. Before sunrise, marvel at the stars. They’re so cold you can touch them. Gloves, hats and warm coats needed, but its soooooo worth it!! The sunrise is spectacular! And once it comes up, the crater is like nothing you’ve ever seen. Turn to your right and look up at the science stations there also. You’ll want to stay!

I really can't say enough good things about our tour guide Henry; he was the best! He was very knowledgeable and funny. He even took some amazing pictures of us once we got to the top. One of the best memories of our trip was this tour. If you are planning a trip to Maui, I recommend doing the sunset tour.

The parking structure was a little hard to find. Once parked bring the ticket to meet at the beach and they would validate it. Everyone turned up on time and our group had 32 people. The catamaran was clean, spacious and well equipped with 2 restrooms, a shower, a bar and enough indoor and outdoor seating. All 4 crew members were nice and friendly. Coffee, cinnamon rolls & fresh fruit were SERVED for breakfast. We saw some whales on the way but they weren’t close enough. We stopped at Olowalu. Water was calm and snorkeling was good. Lunch was served at 10:30am. BBQ chicken was delicious and they grilled them on deck. People can do more snorkeling after lunch and we set off around 11:30. I was hoping we would see more whales on our way. Don’t expect to spend too much time whale watching on this tour. There are some cheaper tours out there, I’m not sure how those compare. We saw some boats with tons of passagers on board. We arrived back at Kaanapali Beach at 1pm.

I participated alone and was a bit anxious about not being able to speak English, but I really wanted to see the sunrise, so I joined the tour. I initially considered renting a car, but it was definitely the right choice to go with the tour. Just not having to drive on those winding roads was enough, but the guide was very considerate and I was able to see the beautiful scenery while listening to the sunrise chant, which became a lifelong memory. The summit was very cold, and since we had to wait for quite a while for the sunrise, I couldn't bring warm clothing and a hat, but I think it would be good for women and children to have hand warmers if possible. After watching the sunrise, we warmed up with hot coffee, tea, and bread on the bus before heading down the mountain for breakfast. Even though I didn't fully understand the guide's explanations on the way there and back, I was able to grasp about half of it. We had breakfast at the golf course's rest house, and then they provided transportation back to the hotel. It was a very good tour.

The boat was a catamaran. Since we boarded right up to the beach, you should be prepared to get wet. There were no Japanese staff, but we managed just fine. Even though I thought of whales as wild animals, my expectations were high! When a whale came close, it was so exciting. Finally seeing a whale was a dream come true! Thank you for showing up. There were some snacks available, but we were so focused on the whales. The sea conditions were calm that day, with clear skies and little wind, so the conditions were quite good. I think our family was lucky. The next day when we went to the beach, the waves were really strong, and it looked like getting on the boat would be even more difficult. After all, dealing with nature, the weather, sea conditions, and the appearance of the whales, I can only feel gratitude. I will never forget the whales that our whole family got to see.

Meeting up on-site was nerve-wracking, but when we found the boat at the port, I felt a sense of relief and excitement as if the tour had already begun. A Japanese staff member found our family, and we boarded safely. By the way, we were the only Japanese family there. The female staff member was very kind to us.

Since it was early in the morning, breakfast was included on the boat! There was a generous amount of food available. There were also various drinks. Japanese people tend to be reserved, but it felt like we should confidently go for the food and drinks. We enjoyed a hearty lunch as well. It was delicious.

What impressed me was the sunscreen! It was available in bottles for free use, and it was eco-friendly for the ocean and coral! That's quite rare. The atmosphere on the boat was fantastic, with music playing all the time. It was fun.

Snorkeling was the highlight, as we got to see fish and turtles in the clear water while playing with the kids. Moreover, while free diving, we could actually hear the sound of whales! It was clear! On the way back to the port, we encountered whales due to the season, making it a dream-like day.

The guide, Mr. Yamapi, was truly a wonderful person full of love. He was talkative and had a wealth of knowledge, which made my heart warm while listening to him. As part of the tour plan, we enjoyed Krispy Kreme donuts and coffee, and we also stopped by a supermarket where I could choose my favorite sushi for dinner. The stargazing experience included a romantic touch, making it an unforgettable tour with high added value. I highly recommend this tour as the number one choice for anyone visiting Maui.

This is a whale watch worth signing up for. The Captain is an utter delight, and her crew were outstanding! The atmosphere on the boat (best looking one in the harbor) was relaxed and friendly. Instructions were given quickly, and we were off. We saw quite a few whales, with Captain & crew pointing them out. The food was a big surprise - it was excellent, and there was plenty of it. It was advertised as “appetizers”, but the chicken wings and ribs were so good, you could make a meal out of them. They also had quite an array of alcoholic beverages to offer. We’ve been on whale watch boat tours before, but this one was the best ever. My husband & I wholeheartedly recommend this tour. Our only complaint was that it wasn’t long enough, but that was because it was so enjoyable we didn’t want it to end.
