Pleasant and informative venue. I went with a lifelong friend of mine and we enjoyed every moment of it. All of the displays were well thought out and enjoyable. I bought the CD so I could review it when I get home and share it with my nine-year-old grandson.

We signed up as a family of four. Our six-year-old was especially excited as it was their first experience, but on the way to the location in the rental car, we got lost and it became clear that we wouldn't make it in time for the meeting. We contacted the ranch, but they said they couldn't wait because there were other participants. It was completely our fault, so we gave up and headed to the location with a heavy heart, hoping at least to show the kids the horses. However, during the drive, I received a call from a VELTRA staff member who said they would negotiate with the ranch. After a while, they informed us that the other participants would go ahead, and we would start late and catch up with the group, which the ranch agreed to. We started 40 minutes late, but thanks to that, the kids were overjoyed. I am very grateful to the VELTRA staff for their persistent negotiation. I could feel their dedication. Thank you very much.

Wayne was a great tourguide. He gave us a lot of useful information. There was just a sliver of sun to see on our morning and it was a bit chilly but the hot chocolate and watching how the sun comes up each morning was totally awesome. Despite having to get up at 2 a.m. it was an absolutely awesome tour.
Went on the cruise and wouldn't you know it, the day clouded over Kate afternoon so there was no sunset that might. The food was great and the drinks were great. It was a calm night so eating buffet style wasn't a huge problem. Would be nice to have a table to sit and eat. Saw lots of whales

Celebrating our 25th Anniversary in Maui and this excursion was an amazing time. The entertainment, food and atmosphere was great. It's amazing how the culture plays such an amazing part of the show. Definitely worth the money.

We are a family of 5 adults and this was our first sunset dinner cruise and it exceeded all our expectations. Everything about the event was exceptional starting by the pickup at our hotel ,the check-in process,the photos,the reserved seating,the drinks,the food and the food servers. We were entertained by the singer/guitar player throughout which was very pleasant. The weather was perfect and we were thrilled when a humpback whale and her baby were breeching within our view. We are looking forward to a whale watching cruise on the Maui Princess in a few days as part of the special package deal. We highly recommend the Maui Princess.

If you want to sit back and relax and hear about the history of the island, then definitely book this tour! You get to experience the back side of the island, the hike is definitely worth the 1000ft climb, but it's not for beginners! It is muddy and there is rocks everywhere, so you definitely want good shoes and be able to hike uphill/steps for about 2 hours! The climb down only took about as hour but we didn't stop for any breaks! Tony was an awesome guide and if you are looking for a tour with waterfalls and history, do not hesitate to book this! Well worth the money!
In the beginning, I was half resigned to the fact that I could only see the whales spouting from a distance, but then a mother and baby whale appeared quite close to us, which was moving. After that, we encountered a pod of about 7 to 9 whales. I was very satisfied. There was a naturalist on the boat who provided commentary through a microphone, which was enjoyable. I couldn't understand all the details, but when a whale appeared, they would say, "○ o'clock!" and "left! right!" so it was fine.

As others have mentioned, the crew was attentive, bringing drinks, fruit, and snacks to each person, allowing us to focus on enjoying whale watching. I thought the number of passengers was just right. It was exciting when everyone spotted a whale together. I was moved when a whale came close while we had the engine off. I recommend this experience as you can enjoy it regardless of the weather.
天候が良くなかったのか前日にラハイナ発に変更との連絡を丁寧なVELTRAの担当の方からのメールで頂きました。ラハイナ港ではパーキングがすぐ見つからず集合時間ギリギリになってしまい焦りましたが、Front StとPrison Stにある無料パーキングを教えてもらい無事乗船！他の方々が書かれている様にクルーの方達は1人1人に気遣って飲み物やフルーツ、軽食を運んで下さったので、クジラを見る事に集中して楽しむ事が出来ました。乗船人数も丁度いいサイズだと思いました。皆でクジラを見つけた時には盛り上がって楽しかったです。エンジンを止めている時に近くにクジラが来てくれて感動しました。天気に左右されず楽しめるのでおすすめです。

The captain and crew were absolutely wonderful. Peak whale season and my husband an I were in Maui celebrating our 25th anniversary. Not only was the dinner delicious and the views spectacular but we also were able to watch the whales. Didn't have to pay a separate fee for the spectacular encounters of the whales. This was absolutely worth every bit of the money we paid and will do it again WHEN we return to Kaalapani.
The crew was knowledgeable and the captain found some great whale locations. We saw quite a few breaches and other amazing whale activities.
However, the boat we went out with was their dinner boat and did not include the advertised hydrophones or binoculars. Had we known this, we might have booked a less expensive excursion that also didn't have these items.

I got to see the head of a baby whale about 20 times. (It's said that seeing so many is quite rare.) A Japanese guide also joined us on the boat. クジラも沢山見れましたが凄く近くで見れるって感じではありませんでした。
集合場所はカアナパリビーチ沿いで会社の看板だけたっている芝生の広場です。少しわかりずらいかも。
カアナパリ地区に宿泊している方には歩いて行けるしオススメです。
船にはビーチから乗るのですが、波も結構あるので全身濡れます、スマホ等濡れないよう対策必要です。
船上ではサンドウィッチやポテチが出ました。
飲み物もマウイビールやカクテル、ソフトドリンクと飲み放題です。
英語でのツアーでしたが特に不便はありません。
船長スタッフともにとても親切でした。
足の悪いシニアを連れて行ったのですが船の乗り降りも全スタッフで手伝っていただきとても感謝しています。
ただ、足腰の悪い方は船の乗り降りが大変なのでやめた方がいいと思いますw
