During my stay on Maui, I went on two boat trips. One departed at 12:00 and the other at 14:15. Both times, whales were playing nearby, making for a fulfilling cruise. This company offers lower prices than others, but drinks and snacks are charged separately. However, with so many whales appearing, there wasn't much time to eat or drink, so it wasn't an issue (I purchased drinks before boarding). There are also restrooms on board. It seems to be less crowded on weekdays, but on weekends or when luxury cruise ships are in port, the morning to afternoon trips were packed. In the afternoon, it was quite empty, allowing for a relaxing experience. Since this was my several times whale watching (both domestically and internationally), I had no problem with the English-only communication.

12:00発と14:15発。
どちらも近くでクジラが遊んでくれて、充実のクルーズでした。
この会社は他社より値段が安い分、ドリンクやお菓子は有料ですが、これだけたくさんクジラが出てくると、飲食しているヒマはないので問題ないです。(乗船前に飲み物は購入しました)
船内にトイレもあります。
平日は空いているようですが、土日や、豪華客船が入っている日は朝～昼便はビッシリだったようです。
午後はガラガラでのんびり楽しめました。
ホエールウォッチングが(国内外)数回目なのもありますが、英語Onlyで問題ありませんでした。

This tour offers a good selection of time slots, which was great. The boat isn't very large, so if you're prone to seasickness, it's a good idea to take some medication. I participated in the early morning tour, and for a while, it seemed like we wouldn't see any whales. Just when I thought we might not see any today, we spotted one in the distance! Eventually, they appeared in various places; they weren't too close, but I was satisfied! The staff only spoke English, but they were kind. One downside is that the check-in location is hard to find. If it doesn't change in the future, it's the booth on the far right with your back to the town.

このツアーは時間帯がけっこう選べるので、良かった。船はそんな大きくないので、船酔いする人は酔い止め飲むといい。
早朝のツアーに参加、なかなか鯨が現れない。今日は見れないのかと思ってたら、遠くに発見！そのうち、色々なところに現れてそんなに近くはないけど満足！スタッフは英語のみだが、優しい。
１つ難点は、チェックインの場所が分かりづらい。今後も変わらなければ町を背にして1番右のブースです。

I did see the whales for sure, but it was no different from what I saw at the viewpoint along the road I drove with the rental car. The staff's response and everything else were good!

I was looking forward to Molokini, but unfortunately, the weather was bad with rain the day before. The sky was covered with thick, dull clouds, and the sea didn't shine brightly. There weren't as many fish as I had hoped, but I did encounter sea turtles. After snorkeling, I enjoyed the resort atmosphere with free drinks, including beer. I was a bit surprised that the transportation was a taxi, and I didn't realize it was for us right away.

楽しみにしていたモロキニでしたが、前日も雨であいにくの天気。どんより厚い曇に覆われ、明るく輝く海とはなりませんでした。魚の数は期待したほど多くはありませんでしたが、海亀には遭遇出来ました。シュノーケリング後はフリードリンクでビールも飲めてリゾート気分を味わえました。送迎がタクシーだったのはちょっとビックリで、自分たちの出迎えと直ぐには分かりませんでした。

The weather was nice, and the waves were calm, which felt great. I was very excited to see a whale for the first time. I heard that if it were a little later in the season, we could see even more. I requested a Japanese guide, and I was very pleased with the service. If it were only in English, the experience might have been only half as impactful. The guide was wonderful and also provided explanations about Maui, for which I am grateful. Please send my regards to the guide, T. I would highly recommend this experience.

天気がよく、波も静かで気持ちよかったです。初めてクジラを見れて大変感激しました。時期がもう少し後ならもっと見られるそうです。今回日本人のガイドさんをリクエストし対応して頂き大変よかったです。英語だけなら感動も半分くらいかもです。ガイドさんはすばらしい方でホエールウオィチング以外にもマウイの説明をして頂き感謝です。ガイドのTさんに宜しくお伝えください。はかにもおすすめしたいです。

Captain is so experienced, we found whales right after departing from the harbo. Nice crew and we enjoyed a lot. Must come during whale watching season in Maui. And remember bring sunglasses, hat, and light jacket.

From December to April, humpback whales come to the Hawaiian Islands, and while I saw them on Oahu, I thought Maui would be a better place to see them up close. I also signed up for the Trilogy, which is a catamaran, so I thought we might be able to see the whales closer to the water's surface. Although the tour was in English, it was fine for us, as we were the only Japanese participants. We were able to see the whales for quite a while, and one came right up to the front of the catamaran, which was very impressive. Additionally, the triangle area between Maui, Molokai, and Lanai is said to be shallow, making it a good spot for nurturing calves. It’s estimated that around 4,000 humpback whales come to the islands each month, so I highly recommend this season for whale watching.

１２月から４月の間、ハワイ諸島沖にザトウクジラが来るということで、オアフ島でも見たのですが、マウイ島のほうが近くで見れそうなのとトリロジー号はカタマランなので水面近くでクジラがみられるかも？と思い申し込みをしました。英語のみなのですが、英語の話せない私たちで大丈夫でした。日本人も私たちだけでした。クジラはかなりの間見ることができ、一番近くでカタマランのすぐ前まで来てくれ、迫力満点でした。また、マウイ島、モロカイ島、ラナイ島のトライアングル地帯は地形的に浅いらしいので、子育てにはちょうどいいらしいです。月には4000頭のザトウクジラが来島するらしいので、これからのシーズンはおすすめです。

This is my second time visiting since the year before last, and this year I was able to see whale jumps twice. It was truly spectacular. On top of that, I encountered a pod of dolphins, and they showed us several spin jumps.

一昨年に続いて2回目になりますが、今年はクジラのジャンプを2度見ることができました。それはもう豪快でした。おまけに、イルカの群にも会い、スピンジャンプを何度か見せてくれました。

Saw a ton of whales. The ride was smooth. My kids all really enjoyed themselves.

The day I went, it was very windy, and due to the weather, I couldn't go to Molokini Island. However, I enjoyed snorkeling in the waters around Maui and participated in activities like whale watching. I was very satisfied because they were very flexible in accommodating my plans.

私の行った日は風が強く、天候の都合上モロキニ島に行くことができませんでしたが、代わりにマウイ島周辺部の海でシュノーケルを楽しみ、ホエールウォッチングなどのアクティビティを行い、非常に柔軟に対応していただいたためとても満足度が高かったです。

Had a great time! Awesome crew. Great music and cocktails. And saw whales! Great experience and would definitively recommend Sea Maui!

I'm regretting that I got sick from seasickness, but thanks to Kana's full support, I was able to swim with the sea turtles. I'm glad I pushed myself to come to Maui!

I've been to Molokini about 20 times, and this was the most fun!

Our Japanese guide, Kana, was wonderful! She took my husband, who was swimming for the first time, to Turtle Point and shared a lot of information about Maui! I enjoyed not only the snorkeling time but also the time we spent chatting (*^^*).

In winter, the water temperature at Molokini is a bit lower than in summer, and I felt there were fewer types of fish, but the clarity was outstanding and truly impressive! I was able to see several large sea turtles up close, which was a rare experience ( ; ; )♡

I definitely want to come back with my family! Thank you so much! ♪

モロキニには20回くらい行っているのですが、1番楽しかったです！

日本語ガイドのカナさんが素晴らしいです！
初モロキニかつ泳げない主人をタートルポイントまで連れて行って下さったり、マウイ島についても色々教えて下さりました！
シュノーケルの時間はもちろん、お話させて頂いた時間も楽しかったです(*^^*)

冬のモロキニは夏よりも少々海水温が低く、魚の種類が少なく感じましたが、透明度抜群で感動しました！
大きいウミガメが何匹も間近で見られて、貴重な体験でした（ ; ; ）♡

また家族と伺いたいと思います！

I went in May last time. This time in November, I heard that we couldn't go to Molokini Island until the day before.
In May, I could hardly see any fish, and the waves were a bit high, which made me feel seasick while snorkeling... but!
This time, the visibility was better than in May, and the waves were calm.
Having casual conversations with Takako made for a very pleasant cruising experience.
The combination of a cheeseburger and a hot dog sausage was the best.
All the staff were cheerful, and it was a lot of fun.
I recommend taking motion sickness medication in advance.

前回は5月に行きました。今回は11月で、前日までモロキニ島には行けなかったと聞きました。
5月の時は魚はほとんど見れなく波も少し高めでシュノーケリング中に酔いました・・・が！
今回は5月よりも透明度は高く波も穏やかでした。
たかこさんのとの世間話がとても快適なクルージングとなりました。
チーズバーガー＋ホットドックのソーセージのみの組み合わせ最高です。
スタッフ全員明るくすごく楽しかったです。
事前に酔い止めお勧めします。

This was first time using tour company for snorkeling.
The ship is nice and big, so I did not get seasick at all.
They provided lots of drinks and food. Hamburger and hotdog was good.
They provided free snorkeling kit including fins. Swimsuit for extra money. I brought my own suit, so it helped me to swim in cold water especially in winter season.
Snorkeling at Molokini crater was good experience.

That was a really nice activity. We saw turtle amd the crew was there for us at any moment.

I recommand that activity to everybody who like water.

I participated in the snorkeling-only plan. I was a bit worried since I signed up without transportation and had to meet early in the morning, but it took about 40 minutes by car from my hotel in the center of Waikiki. The meeting place was a little hard to find, but I think if you head towards the aquarium, it will be smooth.

For breakfast, I could choose from bagels, fruits, and muffins, and there was also coffee and juice. Lunch was a sandwich made with vegetables and ham. Both were delicious!

We were blessed with good weather, and I enjoyed the cruise to Molokini Island and the snorkeling afterward! The instructions were only in English, but I was able to understand. It was fun! Thank you!

シュノーケルのみのプランで参加しました。早朝の集合で、送迎なしで申し込んだので心配でしたが、ワイキキ中心部のホテルから車で40分ほどでした。集合場所が少々分かりにくかったのですが、水族館を目指して行くとスムーズに行けると思います^ ^

朝ごはんはベーグル、フルーツ、マフィンから選べ、コーヒーやジュースもありました。昼ごはんは野菜やハムを挟んで作るサンドウィッチでした。どちらも美味しかったです！
お天気にも恵まれ、快適にモロキニ島へのクルーズと移動した後のシュノーケリングも楽しめました！説明は英語のみでしたが、理解はできました。

The crew was excellent! Attentive and super friendly!
Food was really really good! Sliders, roasted Brussels spiritus and veggies w/dip. The sunset was beautiful and we even saw whales!!!

Our tour guide Matt was remarkably knowledgeable of both the local marine life and also local folklore, history and geography.

He guided us to two spots where we were snorkeling an arms length from some of the most beautiful sea turtles I have ever seen. The best part was because our group was small and coming off of kayaks, we had the entire area to ourselves for the most part. It was truly a breath taking experience.

Matt was engaging, funny, patient and willing to answer any and all questions we all had. I will definitely be doing this tour again, the next time I am in Maui. You will NOT be disappointed! Great value for money - an incredible experience!

Sea Maui was an awesome cruise crew was friendly and fun live music was great awesome night on the water definitely recommend it

Every aspect of this trip was spectacular! The friendly staff, the beverages and food, and views were one of the highlights of our trip. Our large group had the best time on the Sea Maui and can't wait to visit Maui and do this again! Thank you again!

The children have become independent, and it's not often that our family of four gets together, but during this trip to Hawaii, we extended our stay to Maui and had a long-awaited family reunion. Moreover, even my wife, who usually doesn't swim, joined us for snorkeling at Molokini Island. We were able to witness the clarity of the water, the abundance of fish, the beauty, and the richness of nature, making it a truly enjoyable family trip. The photos and videos of our entire family are treasures. Thank you very much.

ないのですが、今回のHawaii旅行で、マウイ島まで足を延ばし、久々の家族全員集合ができました。さらに、あまり、泳がない家内まで参加して、モロキニ島へのシュノーケリングに参加させていただき、海の透明度、魚群の多さ、美しさ、自然の豊かさを目の当たりにして、本当に楽しい家族旅行となりました。家族全員での写真、ビデオ宝物です。ありがとうございました。

The staff and overall experience was wonderful. I had hoped there would be more ocean life to see. We stayed upstairs on the ride back and it was gorgeous!!

Delicious drinks and appetitzers and a wonderful staff. Would recommend this trip to anyone and will definitely be going again on our future Maui trips!

The weather was perfect! It was a calm day with no wind! Our guide Kana provided detailed advice from the start, allowing us to enjoy ourselves with peace of mind. The sea was filled with many fish, and Kana guided us, showing us where to go and even informed us about the current. We kept diving until we got cold. The transfer to Turtle Point was also enjoyable as we chatted with Kana. Just when I thought we might not see any sea turtles due to the unusual current, we encountered a turtle resting quietly on the rocks. After that, we were able to swim with the turtles, making it an absolutely amazing day. I had a great time. Thank you!

天気は最高！風なく穏やかな1日でした！ガイドのカナさんがスタートから細やかにアドバイスしてくれ、安心して楽しめました。
海もたくさんの魚カナちゃんがこっちがいいよと案内してくれ潮の流れも教えてくれ、身体が冷えるまでひたすら潜りました
タートルポイントまでの移動もカナちゃんと楽しいおしゃべりしながら。
潮の流れがいつもと違うとのことで、海亀は断念かなと思ったところで、岩場で静かに休んでいる海亀にあえました。
その後も海亀と泳ぐこともでき、とにかく最高な1日になりました

Atlantis submarine was a fabulous experience run by a very professional and experienced team. The 9am tour was great as it was not full but would not have mattered as the sub is comfortable and really well air conditioned. The guides point out and explain what we were looking at. Pick up/drop off to our hotel was part of our tour and made it all very easy. My only complaint would be confusion at book in as we booked through Veltra online, and Atlantis at wharf wanted print out of voucher which is difficult as i dont carry a printer around on holidays!! This took about 15 mins to sort out at the wharf as we tried to print to their printer even though we showed them email that said we just needed to show email with code. Need to sort that one out guys! Apart from that loved it!

It was great! Smaller boat, more intimate with a super crew. Obviously, the gorgeous sunset helped. They kept your cocktails full and had a nice large appetizer food arrangement. I would do it again if that says anything.

The shuttle from the hotel to the port was not operated by Japanese staff. Upon arriving at the port, you will need to sign a document stating that you will not hold anyone responsible for any issues that may arise during the tour. There is a Japanese version available, so it's best to ask the staff. After signing the document and handing it to the staff, you will receive a plastic boarding pass in exchange.

There is a Japanese crew member (this time it was a person named Takako) on board the ship, but there is no specific Japanese support until boarding. You can ask questions if needed, but once you get your boarding pass, you just need to board the ship. About 150 people were on the ship, but there were only five Japanese participants, including us. Takako will explain the precautions and things you should do early on, so there's no need to worry.

Depending on the weather, you can generally snorkel at two locations. It takes about an hour to reach Molokini Island (landing is not allowed), where you will have about an hour for snorkeling before returning to the ship. After another 30-40 minutes of sailing, you will arrive at the second snorkeling point.

The second floor of the ship has no roof and is exposed to direct sunlight, so since we didn't want to get sunburned, we stayed on the first floor. The ship moves at a considerable speed, creating strong winds, and the transition from Molokini to the next spot and the return from the second snorkeling point can be very cold if you are still wet from the sea. If you're okay with getting sunburned, the second floor or outside should be fine, but I recommend bringing an extra bath towel or a dry jacket.

There is a restroom on the ship, but it is small and not very clean, so changing clothes thoroughly may be difficult. My first snorkeling experience at Molokini Island during my second visit to Maui was very enjoyable, and I truly felt like I was in Hawaii!

ホテルから港への送迎は日本人ではありませんでした。
港に着くと、このツアーで何かあっても自己責任で訴えませんというような書類にサインをして、チェックインとなりますが、日本語版も用意されているので、スタッフに聞いた方がいいです。
書類にサインし、スタッフに渡すと交換でプラスチックの乗船券をもらえます。
日本人のクルー(今回はタカコさんという方)は船の中にいらっしゃるので、乗船までは日本人のフォローは特にありません。
聞けば教えてもらえますが乗船券さえゲットすれば乗るだけです。
船には150人程乗船しましたが、日本人参加者は私達含め5名でした。
注意事項や早目に行動すべきことについてはタカコさんがきちんと説明してくださるので心配いらないです。
天候によるかもしれませんが、基本2箇所でシュノーケルができます。
港から1時間程度でモロキニ島に到着(上陸はできません)、1時間程度シュノーケルの時間があり船に戻り、
また30-40分程度乗って2箇所目のシュノーケルポイントに到着します。
船の2階は屋根がなく直射日光なので、日焼けしたくない私達は1階にいました。かなりのスピードで走るのでとても風が強く、モロキニから次のスポットへの移動と2箇所目からの帰港は海に入ってびしょ濡れのままだと非常に寒くなります。日焼けOKなら2階もしくは外にいれば大丈夫だと思いますが、バスタオルを余分に持つか乾いた上着の持参をオススメします。
トイレは船にありますが、狭くてキレイとはいいがたいので、ガッツリ着替えは難しいと思います。
2度目のマウイで初めてのモロキニ島シュノーケルはとても楽しく、ハワイに来た！っていう実感を得られました。

I was able to participate with peace of mind thanks to the kind assistance of the staff member who speaks Japanese (Takako). It was convenient to have sunscreen available. While snorkeling, they checked in to see if I was enjoying myself, which was nice. When the boat was rocking a lot and I started to feel unwell, they distributed ginger ale, and I felt better right away. It was great that they wrapped the meals so I could take them home.

日本語が話せるスタッフ（たかこさん）に親切に色々と対応してもらい安心して参加できました。
日焼け止めも利用でき便利でした。
シュノーケリングをしているときも話しかけて楽しんでいるか？など聞いていただき良かったです。
船がとても揺れて気分が悪くなりそうなときは、ジンジャーエールを配ってくださり、すぐに気分が良くなりました。
食事も持って帰れるようにラップしてもらえて、良かったです。

Molokini Island had high visibility. If I could wish for anything, I would have liked to see a greater variety of fish. At the second spot, I was able to see turtles twice. There were people gathered around the turtles, but I was lucky enough to spot them first. It was great that we could use sunscreen for free. However, you really need to apply it all over, or you will get seriously burned, haha. By the way, it says the parking is free, but it actually cost $3.

モロキニ島は透明度が高かったです。欲を言えばもう少し色々な種類の魚が見たかったです。
ふたつめのポイントでは亀を2回見れました。亀の周りに人が集まっていましたが運良く先に見つけることが出来ました。
日焼け止めを無料で使えたのが良かったです。でも全身くまなく塗らないとものすごい焼けます笑
ちなみに駐車場は無料と書いてありますが、3ドルかかりました。
